After considered thought and experience, I have no use for telemarketers. Period.

If you touch them at all, you’re stuck. Don’t think the government is going to get you unstuck, either.

And the only way you can really get ripped off is to believe in their “pitch” to begin with.

But the trick is to stay far away to begin with – or take some actions now so you don’t have these scammers on your lines ever again:

1. When a telemarketer calls, say “No.” and then tell them to take your name off their lists.

2. Never give a phone number out. Period. No one except your friends and family need to know. When you send off for information, they don’t need your phone number – or you don’t really need that information. This includes all online and off line forms.

3. Never give out a credit card online. Be very, very careful who you give it to on a telephone call, preferably NOT.

3. Quit using credit cards. They can send telemarketers your way under their agreements’ fine print.

And once you are done with these internet rip off artists – stay far, far away and never deal in their general direction again (unless you are subpoenaed for legal information in someone else’s case, obviously.)

Additional tip: use release technique to get rid of the negative thinking and emotions these guys stir up. One thing you can bless them for – giving you something to release…

[Updated 06/12/10] Learned the hard way at least once since I wrote this book – but here’s the lesson plans to Get Your Self Scam Free.

Getting your money back from a scam

Writing this as I just got scammed again (some turkeys whose address I found out is a UPS store in New York), and because you need to know your recourse if you can’t find this simply in the forums:

1. Immediately call their number and keep careful notes of who you talked to and find out their supervisor’s name if you can – tell them you are taking notes and demand your refund in no uncertain terms. Do not let them talk you into an extension. Most of these guys only give you a 3-day refusal period – and might even count the weekend, although the courts and laws only count weekdays. Be absolute. You want your money back and you want it now.

2. Now, same day, right after that call: call your credit card company and tell them you disputed that charge. Also keep very good notes on who you talked to, and if possible, get their supervisor’s name. (Credit card companies are mostly into this scene, but will work with you if you keep at them – and contact them early enough.)

3. Same day again – go online to your Attorney General, as well as the Attorney General in the state they came from and file a complaint. This is even if they promised to refund your money. The reason is that they will still try to get out of it. No, you don’t threaten to do this if they don’t return your money.  These guys don’t respond to threats. Just do this third.

4. Report online to FCC, FTC, and FBI. Fill out all the information you have. Now, this is even if you are promised your money back. Because these guys are doing this to others.

5. Contact their local Chamber of Commerce and file a complaint there about that business.

6. You can also file a complaint with the BBB, but that won’t do much more than irritate them. The worst scammers either don’t belong or could care less.

7. Hit the forums and complain about them. Just so others can find out.

The reason you do all this in the same day is to first, get it out of your system – and second, most of these guys simply move somewhere else under another name quickly. Too many complaints and they just drop everything, reincorporate under another name and start over.

Good Luck. Tar is sometimes hard getting off your hands…

Making your own luck, via intuition http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/intuition-luck-releasing/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/intuition-luck-releasing/#comments Fri, 28 May 2010 11:50:05 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1525 lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babiesPounding around and checking out old feeds, I found a link from finerminds.com where they pulled up an old (2003) article about lucky and unlucky people.

Of course I commented on how to make your own luck earlier, and was surprised to see in this old write up how my observations tended to explain what he had found.  Richard Wiseman original article here.

And here’s what Wiseman said of note:

Unlucky people often fail to follow their intuition when making a choice, whereas lucky people tend to respect hunches. Lucky people are interested in how they both think and feel about the various options, rather than simply looking at the rational side of the situation. I think this helps them because gut feelings act as an alarm bell – a reason to consider a decision carefully.

Unlucky people tend to be creatures of routine. They tend to take the same route to and from work and talk to the same types of people at parties. In contrast, many lucky people try to introduce variety into their lives. For example, one person described how he thought of a colour before arriving at a party and then introduced himself to people wearing that colour. This kind of behaviour boosts the likelihood of chance opportunities by introducing variety.

Lucky people tend to see the positive side of their ill fortune. They imagine how things could have been worse. In one interview, a lucky volunteer arrived with his leg in a plaster cast and described how he had fallen down a flight of stairs. I asked him whether he still felt lucky and he cheerfully explained that he felt luckier than before. As he pointed out, he could have broken his neck.

All this thinking about how their lives are rolling unlucky or lucky are really just additives. It won’t allow you to release your native freedom, happiness, or peace that’s already there inside you.  You have to really start living within your intuition – which is a very broad world, actually.

And you can see that Sedona Method releasing technique will actually take you right out of any “unlucky” scene you are involved in. Because when you take the control, approval, and security desires out of the Wiseman paragraphs, then you can’t really be anything but lucky – unless, of course, you want to play the “unlucky” game for awhile…

Getting there means turning off the radio on the trip. http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/getting-there-means-turning-off-the-radio-on-the-trip/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/getting-there-means-turning-off-the-radio-on-the-trip/#comments Sun, 16 May 2010 11:13:07 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=647 lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babiesWhen I was going to college just a few years ago, I was in class with a younger associate who was astonished that I left the radio off when I traveled between cities across the Midwest. My reason: it gave me time to complete logical chains of thought I had going.

Of course, now I know even better.

Because all that noise just keeps you thinking. It doesn’t help your thinking or figure out how to quit thinking.

Today I threw out (gave away, actually) a 12-hour set of CD’s which cost me nearly a hundred bucks – because that person said in the third recording on the first CD: you can’t do anything about thinking, you can only change what you are thinking.

What a curve-ball.

For the past few days, I’ve been telling you all about Levenson and his Sedona Method. And been telling you how this enables you to quiet your mind and actually quit thinking as the bad habit (addiction, actually) it is.

Another lecture I was listening to today was on wealth building. Yes, that’s kind of a oxymoron all by itself – since your prosperity is already present. Now, he did give a lot of good mechanics on actions you can be informed about to help you with your inspired actions.

But this guy said the same thing many, many people before him said: you have to surround yourself with the tapes that will reinforce and create the world you want. And this is true.

True for those who can’t quit thinking.

I’ve covered this before in other material. It takes about 28 days of listening and re-listening to the same material or set of materials to change a habit. All thought is generally a habit. So if you want to change your mind, you simply change what you are listening to.

You see, most people are effect of the 50-60,000 thoughts that go through their mind in a 24-hour period. They can’t help but think. The breakthrough of the Sedona Method is that it quiets the mind. It allows you to not just think pleasant, joyous thoughts – by regulating your feelings as “The Secret” espouses – but actually to slow down the frequency of thoughts and get them to simply slow way, way down… and then — just stop.

Takes awhile. But you’ve been thinking your whole life, so cut yourself some slack.

Levenson talks on his early tapes that what you are actually doing is getting rid of the mind itself. (As I went over before.)

So why do you need to listen to these tapes? To reinforce your thought processes so that you always “think” in this new habit.

Sure, there is learning new techniques, new ways to accomplish things in this universe. But that is all working at a quite mechanical level, isn’t it.

This new approach is much simpler. If you just keep releasing, you get to the point where Levenson recommended – of simply releasing in order to get things to appear. Now, that is kind of drastic, isn’t it? And you are still going to get inspired action you have to do. Like suddenly calling someone – or turning down a certain street when you are driving somewhere – or stopping to go into a store you haven’t visited before.

Intuitive suggestion – inspiration. Same thing. Quiet your mind and these start coming to you.

Why is it so hard to develop intuition? Because most of use are thinking too hard at it.

Here’s your suggested program to follow:

  • Turn off the TV for most of the day, if not all of it.
  • Quit listening to audio CD’s and recordings – as well as DVD’s.
  • Welcome and release any and all thoughts that come in. If they won’t release and are negative, release on being stuck – then go back and finish releasing them.
  • Truth (true inspired intuition) won’t release, but you’ll recognize it for what it is.
  • Achieve that inner, joyous, profound peace and maintain it. Any thoughts come in, just welcome and release them.

Do this plan for 30 days instead of anything else. Three times a day just purposely sit for awhile, motionless, relaxed – and release any thoughts that come in, quite in addition to releasing through the day as you go.

You’ll find that all the information you had earlier studied now comes to you as you need it. If there’s something foggy about it, some detail, then re-listen or re-read that material again. Often this will come as some sort of inspired idea as to a book or CD/DVD will suddenly come to you for something you should act on. Follow your bliss – act on your inspired intuitional glimpses.

And while there can be “relapses”, just figure that there is a lot of practice you’ve been going at for more years than you know in developing your thinking habit (at least from age 2) – so some additional thoughts coming in can easily be dealt with by welcoming and releasing.

OK? Have fun.

How to Sell Anything to Anyone http://robertworstell.com/marketing-mix/marketing-everything/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/marketing-mix/marketing-everything/#comments Mon, 10 May 2010 22:04:00 +0000 robertworstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=2725 lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babies There is an old joke you must first puzzle out:

How do you get down from an elephant?

You don’t, you get down from a goose.

Let’s go back to our simple basics:

  • Most people run on semi-automatic. Meaning they are letting their subconscious do the work for them. They only answer the telephone when it rings. These are the factory workers, the cubicle hourly workers, the warehouse and set-wage people who contribute a fixed part of their wages to the Government every week, on an increasing scale the more they make. This is about 97% of the world’s population.
  • Of the remaining 3%, most are in incredible action to get things done. They either run corporations or start them and sell them to others who do, then starting another. Most of these are self-employed or own the company and work either on dividends or in as many low- or non-taxable ways as there can be invented. Politicians and government leaders are in this bunch (and their staffers are in that first group.)
  • And there is a micro-fraction of the whole – about 3% of 3% who really run the world’s wealth. Or they are independent otherwise in the extreme and create the inventions you use all the time. They may work for salaries, but they don’t necessarily depend on these. More often, they are independently wealthy, or have other support systems which allow them an independence from day-to-day necessities of living.

Most of your buyers are in that 97%. And that’s where all your taxes come from as well.

lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babies And since those 97% run on the subconscious patterns (mostly), they are relatively easy to offer goods based on “wants” and “needs”, and to get purchases. Meaning they work all week so that marketers can take their money at the end of it. Or, as in credit cards, they set it up for these people stay in hock until they die. And then go after their relatives for that debt.

The 3% think they are running the show – however, they are also running on mostly semi-automatic. They are simply in action instead of stuck in a rut of expecting things to be handed to them when they work long and hard enough. While these few are the task-masters of the world. They also don’t have a clue on what is actually going on.

That 3% of 3% do actually understand the systems, or at least the bulk of them. And they can concentrate on exactly what they have to operate to get the other 99.9% (+/-) to do what they want, more or less. They think they have the tiger by the tail. But they only succeed to the degree they stick to the system they have and that system is mostly complete. Bill Gates, Warren Bufffet, Sam Walton, all these guys. They concentrate on a system that works.

So selling to any of these bunches is quite simple. Know how the subconscious works and pander to it. Offer systems to that 3% who are in action. But use those same psychology-buttons to get them to buy. Even that .09% will settle to some degree based on your offerings. In most cases, they make or control such vast sums it doesn’t matter if they waste some of it here and there. Plenty more where that came from.

And the write-ups on the systems to market and sell goods to people exist widely on the Internet. Even available as free downloads. Again, you only have to concentrate your attention on finding them, proving them, and using them.

What they will buy:

  • 97% will buy stuff. Material things which temporarily satiate their desires. As instant a gratification as possible.
  • 3% will buy into systems to control or run other peoples’ lives – especially the ones that make that stuff.
  • .09% will buy the copyrights, trademarks, and patents to those systems and license them. Plus buy that company itself.

There is only one rule: You can’t sell something they don’t actually think they need or want. And if you work to deceive them into momentarily thinking they need something when their subconscious says they actually don’t, you’ll wind up paying them more in return than the sale was worth. Almost all of their thoughts are semi-automatic, and their wants and needs are pretty much pre-ordained. (Just reverse engineer my anti-scam checklist and you’ll find them.) This rule holds top to bottom. No real exceptions.

- – - -

lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babies There is a very, very small minority – about 3% of 3% of 3% – or .0027% who are actually immune to the whole system.  They don’t actually need or want stuff. Because these are an enlightened few who don’t work either reactively or pro-actively. They operate intuitively.  And while the wealth they accumulate (and they are usually very wealthy if they put any attention on it at all) comes through the “normal channels of industry and commerce”, you’ll find that they don’t work very hard to make it show up.

These extreme minority few don’t actually work at all. They intuitively know what actions they have to take, but it’s a game to them. They have fun at every single thing they do. Life is unending joy.

And the rest of these guys above would pay just about anything to know and understand and be able to simply do those actions for themselves.

But there’s a trick to this.

Money can’t buy it. And there’s no way to market it or sell it.

You can only earn it.

And these rare few don’t even consider that it’s their job to package this system up and tell people about it, or offer it on any market. Sure, some write books, some make DVD’s or CD’s, or lecture, or hold seminars. But they do this for fun.

They know that only a very, very, tiny handful of people out there are ready to get what they are offering. Because that is how many people are actually ready for it.

To the rest – they are selling a system. And when you study the above, you know exactly what they will do with whatever you offer through your marketing. You’ll know who your clients are, and who your consumers are, and who to sell out to when you intuit you want to do something else.

But they also know that only a handful (as in: you can count on one hand) will actually get what they are saying and put it to actual use in their lives.

So: “To those who have ears, let them hear…”

Sedona Method: Most of this Universe is over-thought http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/sedona-method-most-of-this-universe-is-over-thought/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/sedona-method-most-of-this-universe-is-over-thought/#comments Thu, 22 Apr 2010 05:12:08 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=627

Most of this universe is overthought – including this statement.

Similar to that old Star Trek show, where he lies to the computer in order to get it to blow up. Tells it everything he says is a lie, including what he just said.

Was just introduced to the Sedona Method and can see that this revises a great deal of what I’ve covered up to this point. And it also means a substantial revision to “Go Thunk Yourself” book series.

Because the world and universe are much, much simpler than we have been thinking. In fact, this is the first serious exception I’ve taken with Earl Nightingale’s “Strangest Secret” recording. He started this off with quoting Albert Schweitzer, stating the biggest problem in the world is that people simply don’t think.

My conclusion is the opposite: that people think too much – they over-think their solutions to things.

A great deal of money is spent on meditation classes where they teach you to calm the mind and don’t think. For most, this is impossible – and the reason is in that phrase “don’t think.” This actually invites you to think, to think about thinking, think about why you’re thinking about thinking, thinking about how to stop thinking about thinking…. It just is one long rabbit hole.

Wayne Dyer probably had the best solution to this – simply accept the thoughts which show up and let them go. But that resolution is straight out of what is taught in Sedona.

Sedona simply teaches you to just let go of various feelings and mental noise which has been cluttering up your life. That’s really all there is to it. Now, there are many, many applications for this – and they have ongoing classes and seminars which you can attend to simply learn this. Mostly they push a 20-some CD series with all the data you need.

But the free download you can get by signing up with their site actually teaches you the basics and you can work out the rest for yourself if you want.

Most of this stuff on government, taxes, corporate interests, everything in this world it seems – are all over-thought and complicated beyond belief.

The route to unlimited inspiration lies through letting all the noise of this universe drop away and simply listen to the ideas the Universe is bringing you all the time. This means that you can actually attain and have anything you want in life. And the Sedona Method is used by more than half of the original 24 teachers in “The Secret” – so if you recall that phrase from that movie, this is the bottom line to it.

But until you are at peace with yourself, you won’t be able to really find what your passion is in life and what you should be doing with it. And until you can follow your passion (follow your bliss) in life, then the real rewards  you’ve been looking for will continue to slip through your fingers.

Simply – quit over-thinking your own life.

Get the free MP3 download by signing up with the Sedona Method and find out for yourself. You can always delete them if you don’t like them, and unsubscribe from their newsletter. And they only cost you download bandwidth.

I don’t recommend very many products – but this is one of them. It’s working for me. So you deserve to know.

If you have a different account of this, or think I’m full of it – just let me know below. Or contact me.

An intuitional life – doing what you should have been at all along… http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/intuitional-life/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/intuitional-life/#comments Mon, 19 Apr 2010 04:50:05 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=751
Geese actually do a great job mowing...

Geese actually do a great job mowing...

Came to me while mowing the lawn and watching/listening to/experiencing my thoughts rattle around. Not so much a unique experience for anyone familiar with Levensons’ Sedona Method. (I mean being distanced from your own thoughts – not mowing. I’d rather geese do my mowing almost any day.)

In my life I’ve been very busy following all sorts of leads which put all sorts of stuff in front of what I really should be doing.

I should have been listening to my intuition the whole time.

Intuitional living isn’t an easy thing to move over to. It’s not like you just ask the driver to stop at the next corner so you can get off. It’s a transformational thing.

At this point, I know these key points:

  • You have to learn to listen.
  • It requires working constantly for the most optimal solution around you.
  • It means working in abundance in everything you do and more often open-handed giving.

There may be other key points (they’ll come to me if I need to tell you), but let’s go over these individually. While books have been written on each one (and I’ll reference those I know of as we go) you don’t have to get these books to understand and start applying these right now to your own life.

1. You have to learn to listen.

This is listening within as well as without. Most of the time we are so busy thinking that we are tripping over our own thoughts constantly. Our minds run away with our lives.

Several authors, such as Charles Haanel (in his “Master Key System”) said to seek the Silence. His 24-lesson course the book was based on had you practicing sitting still for some time every day and simply learning to control what you were thinking. Others call for meditation as a way to discipline the mind. My favorite is Lester Levenson, who simply said to release the thoughts and feelings which welled up – this quieted the mind and eventually removed its “thinking” influence entirely.

The point is like someone who is talking all the time and doesn’t let a word in edge-wise. Until that person learns to be quiet and listen to others, they can’t learn anything. While Levenson and others tell how a person develops that problem, it’s easier to simply “let go” of that impulse than to figure it out (which involves more thinking, doesn’t it?)

So intuitional thinking requires simply sitting down in a comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed – several times a day if possible, but at least once daily – and learn to be still and just listen. Don’t contribute to anything that comes in, just allow it and then let it go. Eventually, with practice, you can sit for 5 – 10 – 15 minutes or more and just listen to the world around you. This skill starts to carry forward with you in life and you’ll find yourself taking in and enjoying more life around you.

Until you listen, you won’t be able to have the inspirational, motivational, and intuitional thoughts arrive (they actually are arriving all the time, but we have to get all this noise out of the way in order to begin to see them.)

2. You need to work constantly for the most optimal solution around you.

Now, “work” might not be the best term – it only seems like that at first. Later it becomes fun, a game. But you are changing some life-long mental habits at the outset. So start looking for better solutions, the best possible solution to everything you encounter. Just see if you can’t work out how to live more abundantly and install this abundance in everything you do.

All your situations should result not just in win-win, but in win-win-win. Everyone involved wins from the solution you help evolve – and they then take that to help others live abundantly as well. You really need to not just pay it back, but pay it forward, and then pay it forward in advance.  Wallace Wattles covered this in his classic, “Science of Getting Rich”. He laid out a whole chapter devoted to the idea of doing always more than you are asked to do, taking care with each detail to create the most professional product you can.

3. Work in abundance  – start giving open-handedly.

In nature, there really is no competition. That is a humankind-invented view of things. The oldest writings and teachings on this planet confirm just one thing – we are all connected, there are no limits. Sure, there are the apparency of limits and restrictions, but you’ll find that they are arbitrary and imposed, not occurring naturally.

Look at the things in life which are giving you the most problems – taxes, government, political parties, mass media – these things don’t exist except for us “highly evolved” humanoid-type peoples. And if you look at more “primitive” peoples who don’t have health care, insurance, lawyers – the same sun still lights up their day with warmth and causes things to grow for them. They still enjoy their family, they eat and live with much less stress than we face in our “modern” world. A recent article about some of the oldest-living people found this village where they still went out into the fields every day and harvested their own food, even into their hundreds of years living on this planet.

Competition is only a limiting apparency. Creative action and resolution is unlimited.

And I could really go on and on about open-handed giving – it’s where commerce started out and where online marketing is going again. People don’t want to be consumers, they want to be part of the experience and community that any given product represents.  Online vendors know that they have to give away tons of really valuable stuff before anyone will invest their own hard-earned income with them. It’s a matter of trust. But that trust is built best through open-handed value-giving, not tons of “promotional give-aways” (although the two are related.)

- – - -

None of these concepts are new – even Intuitional Living isn’t a new concept. Emerson talked about it in his own way, as did his student, Thoreau. Even Shakespeare touches on it here and there.

It’s just come the time now, in our Internet information age, that we can move anyone who wants to right on up this line and out. Because Intuitional Living is just the next logical step, but it isn’t the final one (if there is one). It’s the next thing after having everything you need and want in life, being whatever you want to be, doing, achieving, acquiring all that you ever really wanted. You’ll get all that on your road to Intuitional Living. All of it. And you’ll find that once you do, you don’t really have to have all that. (Like owning a candy store – you find that you don’t want to eat candy all the time, but are really interested how to improve others diets so they can enjoy candy as a treat – not an have-to-have.)

Try some Intuitional Living for yourself. Just those three simple steps. See how you can work on each one a little bit each day – and see if your world and the worlds of others around you don’t improve just to the degree you work on these. It really only helps improve things. And as you give to others, you will receive. So this is an invitation to immensely improve your life forever.

Don’t take my word for it, don’t believe what I say here. Try it for yourself and see if it’s true for you.

You can get everything you want in life – and actually do. Whatever surrounds you is already what you’ve always wanted most.

So if you want something different, you simply have to change your mind.

But how to change it is the problem. Apparently, anyway.

Let’s look at basics:

  • You exist.
  • You create the world around you by what and how you think.
  • Your thoughts don’t have to be on automatic all the time.
  • You can change your feelings whenever you want.
  • A thought about something in the future will never create anything – because the future never comes.
  • Thinking about the past only changes your ideas about what happened before this point, if only a couple of micro-seconds ago. Those thoughts don’t change the Now.
  • Only creative thinking about what you want right Now will change what you are experiencing right Now.
  • As everything you think comes back to you, thinking destructively about anyone or anything doesn’t do or bring you any good.

There are a lot of therapies out there which cost a lot of money, but don’t practically do anything (except make that person or organization rich) – because they deal with things that occurred in the past.  What happened is done. Over. Kaput. Finished. Finis. You can’t change it and thinking about it won’t improve what is happening around you. Psychiatry, Scientology, any of these “sciences of the mind” which deal with regression – all these work ineffectively (and expensively) if at all. And they are always a continuing saga – you have to keep getting more sessions and paying more money from here on out.

The only reason we can’t get what we want in life to show up around us is that we are always keeping thoughts around us from the past. Those thought-habits are to keep us safe, to make sure people think well of us, to ensure we can control the world around us.

All those reasons are bogus.

Because the World around you is exactly what you think. Exactly.

Worrisome thoughts create worry and anxiety around you. Fearsome thoughts create more fear. Angry thoughts create more anger. Look around you and you’ll see this is true. Someone loses their temper – and suddenly everyone around them is a little more angry, or a little more fearful.

But the reverse is also true. Someone coming into a room with a big smile and lots of great things to say about everyone around them cheers everyone up.

Your thoughts – and the actions these spark – create the world around you.

The trick then, is to get control over your thoughts. Now, in “Go Thunk Yourself”, I cover in some detail how various scientists have shown that you can change these mental thought habits by around 30 days of practicing a specific pattern of thinking – and that you can change your attitude simply by putting a smile on your face – William James pointed this out around a century ago, and Plato way before that.

More recently, I stumbled upon the Sedona Method with its releasing techniques, and found an even simpler way to eliminate those nagging worries, fears, frustrations, etc.

You can actually and effortlessly be happy, peaceful, calm, and act with complete courageousness every single second of the rest of your life. Sure, it takes some work, but it can be done.

Which way would you rather live your life?

How can "What am I" achieve my personal freedom? http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/achieve-personal-freedom/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/achieve-personal-freedom/#comments Mon, 26 Oct 2009 21:29:17 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1021 lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babies

To answer this question, you have to drop using the mind. The mind is really only composed of thoughts. Thoughts are simply collected solutions to problems in the past – hoping that we might run into that problem in the future and have a ready answer to use.

But our mind can’t really answer a question. It only poses more questions and analysis and reaction about the original thought – so that thinking is just a series of thoughts strung together in loose association. Unless you think in disciplined patterns, (force your mind to think in a concentrated approach) your mind winds up with thoughts widely different from what you started out.

Extreme examples of this are called, “scatter-brained” and also “paranoid-schizophrenic”.

Concentration on a single thought is a time-honored tradition of stilling the mind. And practically, it was the only way to do so before release technique came about.

Concentrating on a particular question or situation allows the mind to still and the answer to come from the Universal. We’ve covered before about how we are all connected and our thoughts are sent out constantly – well, when you still your mind, you are able to get any answer to any situation or problem you have.

(Again, reject this completely and see if it isn’t true for yourself. For all you know, you are being scammed right now. Check it out and see for yourself.)

Napoleon Hill gave an example of Dr. Gates, who would sit in a darkened room with a pad of paper, pen, and the nearby light switch. Gates would only concentrate on what was known about the problem at hand. Once he started getting answers, he would turn on the light and start writing as fast as he could to get it all down. Gates had a huge number of patents on file and was constantly in demand as a consultant to the major corporations of the day.

Meditation is often best done with a single question in mind. Concentrating on that will often give faster results than simply sitting in silence for the same period.

Now, combining a single, concentrated attention on a particular question in alignment with continual releasing of all random thoughts, a calm mind – this allows you to go behind the mind to get the answers from the Universal. The mind doesn’t give answers, it gives back recordings of earlier solutions to similar problems. It will take credit for the answers which come – but those answers come from the Universal, not the mind.

The mind is a pile of recordings.

The Universal stores all knowledge and is a font of understanding.

And once you answer that question, “What Am I?”, then you have a grip on that Universal which will never let go.

But don’t take my word for it. Try it for yourself.

See you tomorrow…

When scam skeptics need debunking – their tin foil hat is showing http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/scam-skeptics-debunking-tin-hat-showing/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/scam-skeptics-debunking-tin-hat-showing/#comments Thu, 01 Oct 2009 11:38:45 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=882 Dont wear your tin foil hat to bed.

Don't wear your tin foil hat to bed.

Sorry to bring you another quasi-rant today.

I went to check out other blogs about this supposed Burt Goldman Quantum Jumping scam and found a doozy – over at Skepacabra. And unfortunately, this “mjr256″ (real name missing from his blog) seems to be more about tearing stuff apart rather than the pursuit of truth – or at least workable truths.

And unfortunately, his slip is showing in the post I linked to above. He’s so skeptical, I don’t know that he knows how the Scientific Method is applied – while he can claim that there is no “scientific” basis for anything that he levels in his sites, particularly Quantum Jumping.

On this blog, I’ve covered why and how it doesn’t work – and how it can easily be made into a scam.  I just disagree with this author’s approach to the subject – since he doesn’t seem to understand that the way you treat others is exactly how you are going to be treated – whether you “believe” in the Golden Rule or deny it. (If you look around for proof, then you’ll find plenty of it – if you simply deny it as a truth, you’ll also be perfectly right. But those who take advantage of it will live far more comfortable, even prosperous lives.)

Such debunkers are no experts in living or in life and so should be taken with a large grain of salt before  you base your lifestyle choice on what they write.

So, here’s the rant-du-jour:

There is a problem with your critical analysis of this – mainly that it’s one of the easiest things to believe = nothing. And criticism really just involves your world with more criticism.

Look, you probably believe in the Government and all that it’s done for you. Well, that belief won’t hold up under your own Baloney Detector Kit. The government is a scam which doesn’t work. Yet people (are forced to) believe in it.

As far as scientific studies, I love the one which said 50% of all scientific studies contradicted the other 50%. (And your baloney detection kit wasn’t applied to their own example of Global Warming, which is disproved by the correlation between sunspot data and recorded temperatures.)

With beliefs, you build your own belief system around you. People cherry pick all day long and only accept things which support their mental habits up to that point. No one is really wrong in this – it’s the way we’ve been set up. Politics is great for blind-siding people this way – by only giving them data which they can use to support their own views.

The conspiracy theorists (like your tin hat above) are constantly ragged on for this – since they are compiling data and proposing conclusions the rest of us would rather not agree with, and so, Believe.

(Like that popular FBI show about UFO’s – “I believe.”)

While you diss people who suspend disbelief, you also diss just about everyone in that category. When you go into a movie theater, if you don’t disbelieve reality for the hour or so of that money, you won’t enjoy it. All scientific method is based on having an open mind about the result – and running impartial tests with double-blind studies to show what results can be achieved.

By blinding and rigidly holding on to only a single set of beliefs, you live in a very boring and increasingly dangerous world – since only you are the one who isn’t evolving and can’t even get your car fixed when it breaks (because you can’t let go of the belief that it’s running just fine.)

Hyper-critical reviews of a subject are great for getting your blog to the top of the standings – particularly if you do it first. However, it doesn’t mean you are actually providing anyone else with any valuable information.

Belief what you will, disbelieve what you will. Doesn’t really matter in the final outcome, does it?

What you and everyone around you is looking for won’t be found by being critical of the entire world around you. These people are known as “bitter” and usually have few true friends. (Who wants to be criticized all the time?)

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

That’s a challenge – if you can suspend your beliefs long enough…

You already know the route to all the Happiness and Freedom you could ever want… http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/route-personal-happiness-freedom-sedona/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/route-personal-happiness-freedom-sedona/#comments Wed, 30 Sep 2009 18:28:21 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=723 lifestyle choice All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar babies
