Hard to believe you already know this – it’s just going to take someone point it out for you…

This secret route has been known since the early 1950′s. It didn’t really show up in “The Secret”, although one of its proponents and teachers (Hale Dwoskin) was in that DVD/movie.

Lester Levenson discovered in in 1952, after being sent home to die by his doctor – told not to get out of bed or make any physical effort of any kind. (But the doctor didn’t tell him he couldn’t use his mind to sort out his life from the inside out.)

The breakthrough was in learning to let go of all the self-limiting thinking he was doing and just learn to live life simply. He found that all the Happiness he had ever been searching for was already in side of him – and he had been keeping it from showing up through all these habitual thoughts he had kept around during the earlier 42 years of his life.

Of course, it took something like another 16 years before he could figure out what he had done and how to teach it to others so they could learn it, too.

I’m still studying Levenson and his Sedona Method, although the tapes seem hard to find these days. Hale Dwoskin and Larry Crane, among others, have picked up this banner. Of course, they are bringing it to people in the way they want, which is to solve the material needs first.

And that’s where people consider that Sedona Method is a scam, because it doesn’t immediately give them everything they want. Hale Dwoskin covers this in several recordings – that by working on your Health, you might get Success or Prosperity showing up – or some other feature of your health being improved.

But I’m getting way beyond the scope of this little post. If you’re interested, you’re going to have to do some more homework on your own. (See links above, or other posts on this site.)

In studying more of Levenson, what he revealed as the cause of his near-death experience was his own attitude toward the world. And by sitting quietly and using his own mind, he was able to reverse these effects in just a few months – and also climb into states of high bliss which few humankind have ever experienced, even briefly.

And along the way, he found the underlying explanations and techniques that enable a person to get anything and everything they want from this world. Anything and everything.

Doesn’t mean it comes to you instantly, although it can. It’s going to take some work on your part. It all depends on how much you are completely willing to give up everything first. And of course, that seems contradictory. But I’m not going to try to explain why it works that way.

Why I bring this to you is simple – I care about your future and that of the world around you.

I’ve been covering the Golden Rule here for a long time – many, many posts. The short hand version is thsi: You have to give before you can get.

Now some have this down to just, only, and exactly how much money do they have to pay to get a CD set that will help them get the pay raise or new car or cash bonus they want to show up in their lives. And some are simply working at visualizing every day to get things to show up.

And while these will work, most don’t find they can get them to work just by reading a book or listening to a tape or DVD. (Although “The Secret” is a good introduction to this approach.)

As the intro to that above recording goes – you have to listen with your heart. Put your thinking aside.

Because all your thinking has gotten you into any particular situation you are in right now – any lack you are experienceing.

What the Sedona Method does is to calm the mind so that your native Self can show up and start working.

And there is a built-in trap mechanism that will ultimately give you a huge loss, a catastrophy if you don’t really give it all up. That’s what Levenson said in the video above. Because, yes, you can get every single thing you ever wanted in this world – and they will all show up for you. But if you don’t move beyond that bliss point where you have the entire universe at your feet, then it will all come crashing down around you.

You have to be able to give it all up.

Because that is the way we’ve set this Universe up to operate. Like death, as Patrick Swayze would quote from one of his movies – you only take the love you hold within you. All these material things around you aren’t worth a tinker’s damn in the final reckoning.

And as you get this idea into your life right now, you can have an incredible life of unlimited Happiness, Joy, and everything you need to accomplish your basic purpose, your passion, your unending bliss on this planet.

It’s been there, really all the time, just waiting for you. As Jesus said, you already have Heaven within you.

But the way to find it isn’t within any particular religion or spiritual philosophy, but is in all of them.Check their basic books and you’ll see this to be true.

The trick is in how much you want to find it.

Are Quantum Jumping or Sedona Method actually scams? NO. Yes. Well, maybe…

But why do people think they could be?!?

You can get scammed by about anything in your life, including this blog.

While making myself an expert on scamming by spending the last couple years ferreting out data in order to get out from under some unscrupulous Internet Marketing ripoffs — one lesson came home:

If you don’t get what you want or expect, you think it’s a scam.

The trick is that your own thoughts are traitors (as Shakespeare put it). If you think you can’t do something, you can’t. If you think something doesn’t work, it doesn’t. (See Earl Nightingale’s “Strangest Secret”.)

Sure, a very, very, very small percentage of people  did actually make it. As well they had some odd-ball, non repeatable successes when people fell into a rich niche no one else had particularly found. But the majority who were sold by these ripoff artists could not get their refund – the statistics were something like 1 in 10,000 actually made it.

Sedona Method and Quantum Jumping both work – if you want them to and are willing to see them through. In fact, using Sedona release techniques on Burt Goldman’s methods will actually make them work better – well, they can if you want them to.

And you can also get their touted results just by just sitting in a chair and being quiet – or taking a long walk in the woods. Doesn’t make them scams and it doesn’t prove they aren’t.

The basic underlying problem is that people want more and better stuff in their lives. And when they don’t get it, it’s a scam.

Well, here’s the basic: Life is basically a Scam.

Why? Because at the highest level of philosophy and spiritual awareness on this planet, from time immemorial, they’ve all held that life is basically an illusion. And that concept explains all thought, and mental process, and human condition below it.

Everything around you, you’ve put there. And everything that comes into your life, you make show up. And all the “scams” out there (name any number of them – higher education, government, military-industrial complex, corporations, environmental extremists, terrorism) and you’ll see they all have that same underlying situation – you made your self the “unwilling” effect of these guys. Because you wanted it that way.

Politics and government (along with their mainstream media flunkies) run scams all the time. Health care is scam upon scam, as are the politicians trying to “reform” it. This latest “H1N1″ virus didn’t come from swine, but it lowered pig prices. And it is shorter and affects people less than the regular flu – but who is paying for all this air time the “TV journalists” are giving it and how about the price of those inoculations we are all supposed to be getting? More tax dollars wasted – but being taxed is a scam, too, isn’t it? Both recent presidents were scams – even if you voted for them.

The list – just – goes – on.

You don’t get what you expected or wanted – it’s a scam.

You actually can get anything you want in life via any method or technique. You can make any of these work. And you can make them all fail. Your choice.

But of course, you can also say that what I write here is simply a scam, can’t you?

All the tests you take in school don’t prove anything. All the diplomas on the walls don’t prove a thing to anyone. All the money in the world doesn’t make you happy. People are going to believe what they want, what aligns with their other thoughts.

Like Patrick Swayze said, “The only think you take with you is your Love.”  This is what Charles Haanel was mentioning in his “Master Key System” – that Love is a primal element and creates everything else around it. And his methods, those 24 lessons, were quoted by “The Secret” – which is also held by some to be a scam.

The bottom line is what you believe and what you think. Above that is how much Create, how much Love you hold in your life. And those determine the quality of this illusion called life and living that we exist in.

So, again, it’s all your choice – and yours alone.

Scam, fame, or fortune – life is what you make it.

The trick in living is to live.

Lester Levenson pointed out many things when he developed his Sedona Method, chief of these is that we are working to get security, approval, or control with almost everything we think or feel or strive for.

Once you get beyond (or while you work at getting beyond) these three, then life gets a lot easier. Levenson said that the next point so conquer was any fear of death.

And you’ll see when you look up the saints, prophets, and true seers for our planet’s history, this is always true. (Of course we are dealing with direct quotes here, writings we know they actually authored.) The legends of these people can amplify what they covered, how they acted, but it’s the same basic concepts. Even if you read biographies of the successful, you’ll find these same points.

They don’t need approval, they aren’t worried about their security, they aren’t escaping control or trying to control something – they just are. And they live in personal peace and with a very calm joy. They embody personal freedom.  They have everything they need or want, but spend most of what they acquire or accomplish on helping others with their lives.

Levenson said that one of the routes to enlightenment, to real personal freedom, was to live your life as a Master would. “Master” in this case are any of the myriad people we historically look up to. Because if you seek to live as a saint, all manner of stuff would come up for you to release. But as you continued to release, then all these would drop away and eventually, your inner Master would show through in everything you do or say, in all your beingness.

Funny that all of our hate, jealousy, bitterness – all this is simply made up. It’s not real. Any problems you are having out in the world are the result of your simply setting up these thought processes long ago. All life is really easy – if you are releasing as you go through it.

I’m planning to do a full study of all this entails and to blog it here. Essentially, this will be the last version of “Go Thunk Yourself!” which need be written and published. Because Levenson is down to the bedrock of self help and we need nothing else.

This ties into Intuitional Living quite nicely.

And as my world becomes more peaceful, I hope to share this with you. It’s hard to beat living in the country on a farm and growing living things. Long walks while checking fence almost never fail to give inspiration – if I’m listening. And that, as I said, has long been the problem – learning how to listen.

My dreams often inspire me to blog, as this early am before breakfast and first coffee. But telling you what I’ve been discovering has been a way to improve the world and to help. You can see why the title of this piece. Quit living for the approval, security, or to get control (or escape control) of this world.

Start living with it and you’ll see it goes much, much easier.

I wrote the below after a dream (afternoon nap) and sent it to a friend:

Saw some stuff from the Noetics Institute about non-duality coming up as a lecture series, and I had earlier had this defined as someone being able to experience both male-femaile – being outside those limits, however, that was wrong.

It’s being the cause and intended effect at the same time, being the salesman, the sold product, and the customer simultaneously. And this definition is really incorrect as well – research dug up this 1997 paper, which says my concept is closer to pan-psychism

Of course, this interestingly aligns to Levenson (Sedona Method) who would frequently say “thou art that”.

Reason I pick this up is a crazy dream where I was the programmer and the code simultaneously. Everything was explained in terms of class theory and objects. (Which is deep stuff, but I’ve often held that computers and their software was modeled on the god-human experience.)

Practical application is in sales – realize that the Bell Curve also tells you the breakdown of types of people who are viewing (and buying) your stuff – 1-5% will do something noble with it, 3% will buy it because it’s offered. Out of those sales, 80% of the income will come from 20% of those, 3% will refund. 1-5% will do something stupid or criminal with it. Just the way life is – that Bell Curve is simply a natural distribution.

But if you only market to the noble, you won’t get the bulk of the curve, who are customers (plain and simple) to do anything at all.

Don’t expect to convert or enlighten the bulk of humanity, concentrate on the highest-end stuff to be your evangelists and communicators. Figure to be ignored, mostly.

But like Nature, be extraordinarily prolific and give open-handedly to everyone you can.

And then the next night, my dreams were worse. (Funny how that goes.)

I was not only the scammer, but was also figuring out how to get out from being scammed. Had to do with owning some land in Texas, which was being used to finance an online scam.(And I, of course, was saying he could make more money raising grass-fed beef…)

And then as I worked to figure a solution for both sides, I then was outside of that and looking at myself looking at both of these – and realized that some things were meant to be…

But the point of all this is that we are all apparently part of something much greater than ourselves. The Internet is enabling us all access to untold treasures as far as information. And our job is to open-handedly spread this wealth around.

That’s why I have to keep several blogs running all the time. Just to keep things categorized and separate.
