The world, you, and your mind

sedona method The world, you, and your mind

Listening to a rare Levenson video yesterday and it hit me tonight that this was a key to many things for many people.

Now this may not seem all that practical, but it’s the underlying idea which you should consider:

It’s spirit, mind, body – the being created the mind, and then used the mind to create the World and body.

Most of science (and religion) gets this completely different – and you are free to believe whichever you want.

Levenson holds that we are far more powerful and capable than we let on. That we can do much more than we let ourselves demonstrate.

Practically, this is true. Test it out for yourself by just applying some releasing and you’ll see all sorts of “miracles” show up in your life. The more imperturbable you get, the less effort is in your life and the more of these “miraculous” events show up.

But actually, it’s all the effort we work with that keeps them from showing up. Your natural state is one where things just show up around you. Think the thought, then let it go. Like Jack Canfield’s piece in “The Secret” DVD. (Canfield is a Sedona graduate.)

Get the idea of what you want and then simply let it go for the world to manifest. If you read Wattles’ “Science of Getting Rich” closely, you’ll see this in there. Also Haanel’s “Master Key System”. And the release technique puts Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” on steroids – his idea of a burning desire really takes off when you release on it and take the effort out of it.

But the key is that you are not in the world, the world is in you. You are much greater than the universe that surrounds you. And when you finally tap into this idea, all sorts of stuff starts working out for you. The more imperturbable you get, the easier life runs for you.

The more you start simply releasing as a way of life, the more miraculous your life becomes. Because releasing is simply getting the resistance out of everything you do and encounter.

And what you don’t resist can’t run over you. If you think it’s good for you, you’ll get more of it. If you don’t like it, it’s bad for you, then it disappears.

But of course, this is all radical metaphysics. So don’t believe a word I said here. Check it out for yourself.

Throw everything away to regain your Freedom

sedona method The world, you, and your mind

Of course, this sounds a bit drastic. But you have to figure that:

  • if you already have all the Freedom, Happiness, and Peace you could ever want, and
  • all your thinking and considering and affirming is just limiting your native talent and abilities,
  • then you need to simply throw things over wholesale in order to make any personal gain in your life.

Too simple. Maybe harder to do than it looks.

But the point is that you really, really, really have to look at what you are holding onto as sensible and why is it sensible. Then take those items which consistently make sense to you and rebuild your world-view with these.

Now this doesn’t mean that you are going to be able to hold onto these stable data for long either. But you can use those key and sensible data to help you find even better ones.

I advocate (because it’s been successful for me) using Sedona release techniques in order to let go of the limiting thoughts, wants, desires, and emotions in your life. And just keep this up. But you can also get results with just about every single philosophy out there – particularly if you are only consulting the basic texts of this subject. (Many religions have been led down a very narrow and prejudiced, non-inclusive path. Radical Islam is one, some extremist “Christian” sects can easily be found, as well as Buddhist teachings – any and every religion has these.)

But in my experience, where you adopt a “big tent” approach and see how you can figure out how to help the maximal number of people you can, this is a road to a better and better personal lifestyle for yourself.

Of course, your mileage is going to vary. No two people are going to exactly agree on anything. And that is the exact point. What fits the person next to you won’t necessarily fit you. What any preacher, priest, or mullah says might or might not be completely applicable to your own life and goals.

So you have to have the ability to kick over your own traces and decide what works for you personally.

Try it. Throw out what doesn’t work today. And keep doing it. Eventually, you’ll get down to just a few key principles you can base your life on. Figure, though, that you’ll also maybe be throwing these out at some point, too.

Cheers!

How I thrive in these uncertain times.

sedona method The world, you, and your mind

You basically have to know where you’re going and where you are at.

A friend sent me this cute story which basically tells off all these people with their drive to “make money online” and “become a millionaire overnight”.

An older blog post I wrote asked the question “What if their is no mountain?

And as well, you may have noticed my continuing posts on the Sedona Method release technique.

The point of all this is coming out in my new book, “Freedom Is — (period). All the Happiness, Peace, and Freedom you could ever want is already in you. You just have to let it out.

And while you are releasing all these negative thoughts to just be yourself, you also meanwhile learn how to get all the wealth, success, and loving relationships you could ever want as well. But the trick is to get beyond the “get rich quick” mindset (which Sedona helps you to do) and really concentrate on that peace of mind which money can’t buy.

All religions and philosophies (even those the money-hungry Wall Street bankers use) – all these point to the same thing: you only get peace of mind from yourself. And how you get it is to start getting really accepting and grateful for what you already have.

This is what I’ve learned over the past year, in all my various escapades. People aren’t really working against you, unless you are working against them. But the joke is that since we are all connected, you are just working against yourself.

Here’s where the Golden Rule really points out the humor in our lives. All this work with politicians and lawyers in order to “make money” when you already have all the abundance in your life you could ever ask for… You just have to treat others as you want to be treated. And then they will. Because you are “they”.

Or, look at it this way: there are a great deal of people out there who want to help you – if you will only let them.

Cheers!

PS. This also works for the “Law of Attraction”. Same ‘diff…
