Burt Goldman and His Most Excellent Adventure

lifestyle choice Burt Goldman and His Most Excellent Adventure Had a dog die today. Got run over by a truck, towing a trailer. No way to stop or slow down. Should have trained the dog better. But you don’t keep a country dog on a leash.

Sure, there was grief. However, the more interesting part was that I used what Burt said as far as reaching out to the spiritual universe to see what I could find out. (Out of Goldman’s “Mind Box” series.)

And there was my dog, jumping and running around, as playful as ever. Not concerned that it just passed on after being run over. Happy.

When I kept checking, different methods, same result. Well, mostly.

After awhile, she’d come to me like she always would – out of nowhere and jump up to lick my face all over. Just happy, happy. Pure, unconditional Love.

But I learned from this.

It all boiled down to the same points:

Feelings are created – on top of personal, native joy that is already there.

Bad feelings, good feelings, all feelings are created.

Even exhilaration – just another feeling which is all additive to the moment.

Let’s review from Levenson’s release technique:

  • All thoughts are based on feelings.
  • All feelings are based on desires.
  • All desires are created to play the game of the Individual.

But the game of the Individual is a lie – in order to have a game. It is, however, seemingly the most valuable game of all. Once you are over having to play that game, then you can really start to make progress.

The trick to this Universe, to Living itself, is that there is no Other. There is only Being which runs through all of our individual Self’s that we keep created.

A continuing bottom line which I keep running up against is that this One runs through everyone and everything. It’s always on. But exists in no future or past. Only in the Now.

Today’s post only adds to an earlier one. Death is more than a fiction. It’s a complete and utter fiction.

People, pets, plants – all life doesn’t “die”. It’s just another version of life that goes on.

Life is only a dream, and Death is just another extreme on that scale. “Moderation in all things” says that any and all people and life-forms (as well as non-life forms) are somewhere and nowhere at the same moment.

That moment is not the result of your thoughts, though it could be. It’s not the result of your feelings, although some hold it to be so. And desires can never be satiated or fulfilled. Love is what creates the world around us, at the base. Beingness is beyond, before, inside, and outside of Love.

The real point is to Be. And only Be. Everything else, other than the Now, is a fiction – a complete mock-up.

The Now is always there. And you are always in the Now, as are all those around you and connected to you. You are, as always, connected to everyone and everything. But there is no future, no past, no disconnection – only the Now, the moment.

And within that is the answer to “What am I?” and “Who am I?”

Once you figure this out for your Self, then you have it.

Of course, this never needed to be written – because you already knew it. ;)

(No, I’m only reporting what I find. Your own mileage may vary…)

The less important live among us as the greatest.

It’s obvious that Masters walk this earth. And they don’t particularly care a hoot about being “discovered” or “exposed”. Because they really don’t give a hoot about anything. They do their job easily, effortlessly, and live their life in comfort. Mostly unknown, they don’t seek the spotlight necessarily – since that is a tradeoff and can get in a person’s way in living life.

The key thing is to let your own Freedom shine out from within. You don’t hide a light under a basket, you let it shine.

The usual disclaimer: My ideas on this are just that – discount them immediately and make them your own or reject them.

Today’s lesson goes down this line.

There are some old phrases from the releasing technique which I’ll repeat here. “Be not the Doer, Be the Witness.” “Let go and Let the Universe.”

You have to get your Self out of the way so you can let the Universe within you shine through. You already have all the answers to any problem or situation right within you. All you have to do is let it out. There is no effort in it. Just let go and let the Universe. Let the Universe what? Anything it damned well pleases.

That’s the point. The You gets in the way. There is a way of intuitional living you can adopt (or not – your choice). What this does is connect you with a fountain-well of constant inspirational and motivational. All answers are there, all solutions are there. It’s the Universe just wanting to peek out behind that “solid” facade called Self.

The idea here is that it’s much easier to go through life by letting the Universe guide you.

OK?

Here’s a set of steps from an old tape series called “The Way”:

1. You want the world more than you want freedom. (You have to want freedom more than you want the world.)

2. Take all your joy from within by releasing.

3. Make the decision to go Free and then do it.

If you do make the decision to go Free, you will do it. If you’re not Free, you haven’t made the decision.

Prime thing is making releasing constant.

4. Go directly to the fear of dying and then release it.

Get rid of the bottom motivator and you’re finished.

5. Get everything from here on by releasing – the most practical of the four.

If you’re efforting, your not releasing. “I am not the doer – and letting it happen.” Let go and let God. All actions are effortless if you are releasing. Action doesn’t stop someone from realization, identification with the doer does.

6. Be not the doer.

You’re not the doer. Things happen. You don’t have to do them. Let go and it happens. Letting go and letting God. Just watch it happen.

Releasing wanting to feed the ego.

7. Make your behavior that which a Master would do.

Whatever you do, do it successfully. The more imperfectly we work, the lower down the scale we are. The action required to go free is releasing all the obstruction.

Those will keep you going for now. Tomorrow is another day. See you then.

How to Get the Peace of Mind You’ve Always Wanted.

Peace of MindGenerally, I’ve found that it’s just too simple to get peace of mind at will. You just have to really want it, and then use Lester Levenson’s Sedona Method (releasing technique) to simple get exactly what you want.

Of course, this also means that you can have all the Happiness and Freedom you ever desired. Because they are really all the same thing.

And it’s quite simple to do this. While it’s easier done than said, there is a simple two-step release process. But it’s a bit more of a Zen-related aspect to life, since you can easily get to where all those former worries just doesn’t seem to matter any more.

Simply:

  1. Welcome whatever it is that’s bothering you – accept it for being what it is.
  2. Consider the idea of letting it go.

With the various noises that sound off all the time around us, it’s good to keep this in mind.
