Dr. Hew Len’s version, to be precise.

And the underlying theory to his practice found at http://www.hooponopono.org/, as well as various seminars they hold globally. His work is based on Morrnah Simeona, a recognized “living treasure” in her time.

The grist of this:

Zero Limits CEssentially, some (such as Joe Vitale with his “Zero Limits”) have described the four phrases as a mantra. Unfortunately, this can be deceptive as to its true power and application. A mantra to some is like taking a pill to change something (for weight loss, depression, etc.) And of course, the “Big H” (typing this out over and over gives me pause) will do that easily.

But it will do it much more effectively when you know the actual basis below it.

What follows doesn’t replace attending one of their seminars, studying their site, or getting any of the books, CD’s, and DVD’s concerning this subject. And that is all recommended. What I write here is my understanding of the basics, looking from New Thought, Silva Method, and Lester Levenson studies.

The 4 phrases

1. “I’m  sorry.”
This is taking responsibility. Levenson covers this as essential, as does Haanel, Hill, Nightingale, and others. Until you accept full responsibility for your own thought-created world, you won’t be able to change it. Like Archimedes, you have to have a stable spot (and a very long lever) to move the world. Responsibility is your spot, and that long lever is the Big H, or similar techniques appropriately applied.

In Hale Dwoskin’s version of Sedona Method, he has developed a method of “triple welcoming”, which is essentially this point – accepting what is, or welcoming whatever you are experiencing fully.

2. “Please forgive me.”
While we could talk about correcting erroneous thinking here, the biggest part of this is simply covered in the above. Welcome, accept, and take full responsibility for whatever you are observing or experiencing. And then see if you can let it go. That goes back to the basics of Levenson’s releasing technique. Once you can release something, it will cease to affect or bother you.

[product thumbnail]3. “I love you.”
Haanel held that Love is a primal creative force. To restore the love to something was to create it newly, without errors. Levenson also found his own personal success in healing himself was to recognize the importance of loving without reservation, in out-flowing love instead of expecting to be loved. This would also then explain the workability of Napoleon Hill’s “develop a Burning Desire”, as you are simply creating (loving) a core value or outer experience for yourself. You start within, which is the basic of Christian Larson’s “Ideal Made Real”. Thomas Troward covers this a great deal in his books.

A little study would show that this is also the base below the “Law of Attraction”. You have to Love things into existence around you. The more you are critical and combative, the less of what you think you want will show up. Tolerance, Unconditional Love – all these points.

4. “Thank you.”
Here we see gratitude again. Also, acknowledgment of yourself and what you’ve created. While Wattle’s covers this in his “Science of Getting Rich” (with it’s own chapter) this is key through “The Secret” (which is based primarily on New Thought authors and current teachers). Jack Canfield said it as:

“…focus on what you’re grateful for already. And really be, enjoy it.

Then go into your day and release it to the universe, and trust that the universe will figure out how to manifest.”

https://img.directtrack.com/nightingale/11134.gifspiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson ReleasingIn the Silva Method, practitioners are taught to affirm at the end of their meditations, “And it is so.” or some similar phrasing. This is also the word “Amen” at the end of most Christian prayers – which means that exact concept in it’s roots. The point is to acknowledge what you have created and to release it to manifest and grow. Much as planting a seed in your garden. Prepare the soil, plant the seed, water and feed it, then let it do it’s job.

You see in those four steps the same as above:

a. Take complete responsibility for whatever you are witnessing.

b. Be willing to release it.

c. Re-create it with Love.

d. Give gratitude and acknowledgment that it is.

Hope this helps you find peace beyond all understanding.

What was interesting to me, and I’ve found this from my emails with Steve, is the down-home honest approach he has to real-world releasing.  He’s been there, done that. It’s refreshing to hear from someone who has gone through the same things you and I do with our day-to-day lives. Larry Crane and Hale Dwoskin are heroes just for carrying on and marketing as they do. But Steve is a treasure as well.

Now, this also continues his examination of BUTT releasing. And his understanding of “programs” as Lester Levenson called them, is unique to his approach.

Personally, I love gathering different views on the same subject to see the approaches – so I can match the best approach to my personal scene. Hale does it one way, but I like certain aspects of Larry’s as well.

Steve has an upcoming teleseminar which looks to be a good third alternative.

But here’s what he says:

From the desk of Stephen Seretan, MA, student, friend and aide to Lester Levenson

Dear releaser,

There has been a lot of interest in the so called Butt Method of achieving results with the Sedona Method.

Keys to the ultimate freedom: Thoughts and talks on personal transformationLester called it the “Butt Method” because he said that it is possible to just sit on our butts and have the world serve us if we are very released.

Take note of the “if”. That’s the part that most people miss. That means that we must be in solid Courageousness and Acceptance on the chart for this to work.

We have to be honest with ourselves as to where we really are in terms of our state of consciousness.

If not, we are living in a “fool’s paradise”, and we will fail at this.

What prevents us from operating this system is our non-winning beliefs. “I can’t do it”, “I am a loser”, “I am too old to do this”, “It’s too late”, etc.

Also it is our deep seated, subconscious programs suppressed over lifetimes.

A program is a decision made consciously, but now running unconsciously. Still creating a reality for us, however.

They infect all that we do and color our world in ways that add extra difficulty to anything we try to accomplish.

As I have seen, they slow down or stop our releasing altogether. I know they have slowed me down over the years of my accomplishing goals.

We can take control back, and begin to undo these menaces to happiness and success.

I have a gained a lot of experience working on eliminating these for myself, and I bring that to the table now. It is totally doable to drop theses programs/beliefs, but it takes 5 things:

spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing1. Being able to identify them when they are appearing.

2. Discriminating between what is true and what is the mind lying to you.

3. Making a STRONG decision to drop them.

4. Doing this many times a day.

5. Persisting in the battle.

If you are active in this, you can win this battle between your Self, and what Lester called, “The program enemies that seek to dethrone you.”

Steve’s site to sign up for that seminar (and to get his book ) is http://lesterandme.com and http://shop.lesterandme.com/ (Send me a copy of your invoice and I’ll send you a pdf copy of “Get Your Self Scam Free”, which tells you how to apply Levenson to keep from getting scammed [again].)

Hooponopono and Your Peace of Life http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/hooponopono-peace/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/hooponopono-peace/#comments Wed, 12 May 2010 02:56:39 +0000 robertworstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=2721 spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing Now this will be my last post on this blog about self-help techniques.

Simply because they have all begun to say the same things to me. They actually speak in one voice now.

So: Aloha.

The last point I really learned anything “new” was with Lester Levenson’s works on release technique. And of course I send people to Larry Crane as I can, simply because this is a relatively easy way to approach the subject. Of course, I also greatly respect Hale Dwoskin’s work along this line and also Stephen Seretan. There are many other teachers and coaches who are promoting Lester’s discoveries and these keep popping up to my awareness as well. Peace and Love be to all of you.

Now, the point that I have anything to say at all today is due to Joe Vitale and his “Zero Limits” book. Joe is an Internet marketer (as well as using conventional offline approaches) but I don’t hold it against him. Nor the fact, that like many people, I didn’t know he existed until “The Secret” DVD came out. There is a world of self-help seminars of which I am clueless. But then, I have a farm to run and can’t be trying to keep up with all these coaches and trainers and guru’s and whatnot. Cities bore me. (But that, perhaps, is just more to release.)

Back to our topic: Joe was fascinated with a story he heard about someone essentially cleaning out a psych ward for the criminally insane, only by using an ancient Huna healing technique – no visitations, consultations, or prescribing any treatment of any kind. And interestingly, he did all this work on less than a full-time schedule – just 20 hours a week.

While I still haven’t found any verification of this story, I did find a heckuva lot of other material which substantiated Dr. Len’s background. Most of these links for further data I’ve already posted on the Ho’oponopono page.

Today, I’ll talk the theory of how this works – and how Dr. Len is just saying the same thing as Levenson, which has for me been the missing link and theory which all other self-help, personal development, spiritual, and religious studies have been just shooting around. They each individually had parts of this, even overlapped, but Levenson compiled them into a whole study with workable techniques.

A key point is to actually hear Dr. Len describe his own work and why it works. Vitale is just, as he admits, telling you what he personally got out of it. The background theory and being able to put the intention into your technique is what makes this work. (Which lack is noted as far back as the 14th century when Al Ghazzali produced the “Alchemy of Happiness” – probably the historically-first self-help book.)

The intention is to take responsibility and to clear out of yourself any non-optimal thought which appeared.

The underlying part to this is that the Unihipili (or “Low Self” or subconscious mind) holds onto all the various incidents which have happened in our lives and presents these up as solutions for us to act on. Just as Levenson said the entirety of the mind is made up of memories and programs, none of which was actually happening in the present.

Dr. Len then uses a very shortened version of Morrnah Simeona’s modernized Ho’oponopono – which is essentially a prayer/affirmation/invocation/meditation/offering to the Amakua (or “High Self”, superconscious, Divinity, Higher Intelligence) that you would like to take responsibility for this thought and apologize for any bad effect it may have had.

The action of this then erases this thought completely, so that it quits recurring.

You’ll see this in Levenson’s work, where as you release, that exact thought is gone for good. However, you want to take this further and find the underlying feeling that caused it, plus the underlying desire which caused that feeling. This takes out thoughts by the thousands or so at a time, so that they won’t continue to bother you.

And this is the limit of Dr. Len’s actions. While the traditional Ho’oponopono healing technique may very well have approached that absolute, any person who is only using this simple technique to deal with individual thoughts or situations is missing the broader picture.

There are caveats with this technique.

You don’t go around trying to work miracles for others or for yourself. You only take responsibility for your own actions and thoughts. That some thought came in coincidental with another person’s actions or communication to you – that is regardless of what you must now do. Your concern is with the thought you had. Critical, damning, snarky – doesn’t matter. You want to regain your own peace,  and so you simply accept responsibility for that thought and let it go. Dr. Len’s technique also has you apologizing and asking forgiveness.

But you don’t use this technique to go around trying to “be” a miracle worker or get disappointed when major things don’t happen. Anyone trying to use mental tricks just to puff up their own approval, or get control over others, or ensure their own safety – they are simply putting themselves right back where they came from. Like a dog chasing it’s own tail in circles.

You want internal, personal peace. Others around you will probably become more peaceful as you do, but that is a side benefit. Your responsibility is to clear yourself. And as you can stay at peace within yourself, what you observe, how you interact with others – to this degree you will restore your own native Peace, Freedom, Joy, and “hootless” perfection that you’ve always been. What you are working to restore is your own “peace that passes all understanding.”

What’s Love Got to Do With It

Levenson went through a basic realization in this area  when he was looking at his own mortality at age 42. Here’s some sections from a short account of Lester’s epiphany, available at Larry Crane’s website (http://www.releasetechnique.com/rt/pdf/LesterLevensonStory.pdf):

His strength was returning, but not wanting to be distracted, he avoided getting involved in social activities and would sometimes even pass up the Sunday get-together with his family. He did his food shopping in the middle of the night, around two or three in the morning. There were very few people up and about at that hour, and he enjoyed the quiet of the city. He went on correcting his life, even while doing the necessaries. And he noticed that when someone in a store or on the street would annoy him, he was able to correct that response with love either immediately or shortly thereafter. This pleased him, and he found himself loving others with an intensity far beyond anything he had imagined possible. As he described it many years later,

“When I mixed with people, and again and again when they would do things that I didn’t like and within me was a feeling of non-love, I would immediately change that attitude to one of loving them even though they were opposing me. Eventually I got to a point where, no matter how much I was being opposed, I could maintain a feeling of love for them.”

Finally, he met up with something he couldn’t dissolve with love. It was an old romance he had, which he couldn’t commit to. When he looked it over, he found that it was all due to wanting to change the outcome from that incident years ago. When he did just toss over wanting to change it, the whole incident shifted and disappeared:

He began to look now in this new direction. He realized that the cause of his ulcers was that he had wanted to change everything, starting with his nearest and dearest and extending out to the rest of the world, including the United States, other countries, government heads, the weather, endings of movies he had seen, the way businesses were run, taxes, the army, the President; there was nothing he could think of that he had not wanted to change in one way or another.

What a revelation! He saw himself subject to and a victim of everything he wanted to change! He began dissolving all that. When he thought of something that caused him pain about a person or situation, he would now either correct it with love or dissolve wanting to change it.

The next point is almost too simple. He found that his thinking was what had gotten him into trouble, that all the subconscious figuring and urges was what had caused all his life problems up to that point.

Discovering that my happiness equated to my loving, and that my thinking was the cause of things happening to me in my life gave me more and more freedom; freedom from the subconscious compulsions that I had to work, I had to make money, I had to have girlfriends. Freedom in the feeling that I was now able to determine my destiny, I was now able to control my world, lightened my internal burden so strongly that I felt there was no need for me to have to do anything.

Plus, this happiness was so great. It was a new experience for me. I was experiencing a joy that I never knew existed, never dreamed could be.

. . . .

After several weeks, he began to wonder if there could be anything better beyond this joy. …He had the idle thought without expecting an answer, but the answer came.

What was beyond this incredible, joyous state that didn’t stop? He saw that it was peace, imperturbability… and he realized with certainty that if he accepted it, if he decided to move into that peace, it would never, ever go away… and he went… slipped into it so effortlessly… with just a decision to have it… he was there. Everything was still. He was in a quietness that he now knew had always been there but drowned out by incessant noise from his accumulated, uncorrected past. In fact, it was more than quiet; it was so far beyond anything imaginable that there were no words to describe the delectable deliciousness of the tranquility.

His earlier question about happiness was answered too. There were no limits to happiness, but when you have it all, every minute, it gets tiresome. Then this peace is just beyond … and all you have to do is step over the line into it.

“Is there anything beyond even this?” he wondered. But as he asked, he knew the answer.

This peace was eternal and forever, and it was the essence of every living thing. There was only one Beingness and everything was It; every person was It, but they were without awareness of the fact, blinded by the uncorrected past they hold on to. He saw this Beingness as something like a comb. He was at the spine of the comb and all the teeth fanned out from it, each one thinking it was separate and different from all the other teeth. And that was true, but only if you looked at it from the tooth end of the comb. Once you got back to the spine or source, you could see that it wasn’t true. It was all one comb. There was no real separation, except when you sat at the tooth end. It was all in one’s point of view.

And that, my friends, is the reason for this overlong essay.

We all share the same Beingness. What you do to another, you do to yourself. There are no limits.

This now explains how Dr. Len’s work produces apparent miracles with no effort (which is the only way miracles can occur, anyway…) By being responsible and erasing your own thoughts, you then produce a similar effect for all Beingness in this Universe. As each person clears his own mind or Self, they do something for the Universe as a whole.

This is, perhaps, why Presidents change after a campaign. They are subject now to prayers of people all across the nation. And so are subject to the effects of people erasing their own thoughts, feelings, and desires about that individual. (Obviously, the more we continue to work on fictions like Government, the better it will operate – we might even get less taxes and some real service out of the deal, if we all kept it up long enough… but funny enough, we have to do it from our own idea of being responsible, not from wanting change other than in our own thoughts.)

Final notes:

The Huna description of the Three Selves is workable. Most Western approaches combine the Low Self with the Middle (or conscious) Self and are just as effective, since most people have been on 95% automatic anyway. As we wake up and see ourselves separate from our thoughts, feelings, and desires (which is all the Low Self gives us besides our breathing, blood circulation, digestion, and all other autonomic responses) – then we start to set at good example for the Low Self. And this is all the Low Self wants, really – to learn how to be better.

What you are doing with all this is un-learning the lessons we’ve all absorbed up to this point. Taking responsibility for these and erasing them so that we can just let our basic perfection shine through. You know that stuff – we all have it as basic and natural qualities of life and living.

So you improve your own Beingness and these three Selves align. You wind up with the direct, always-on intuitional inspiration which other self-help authors can only get to occur transcendently (not all the time.) But with what we now know, you and I can have as perpetual.

Ho’oponopono’s purpose is to create or reestablish harmony. Another definition is “to make whole”. Which is the same point of Levenson, Silva, and New Thought. Alignment with the Universal, Higher Intelligence, Divine Will, or any name of any prophet, god or goddess who ever was or will be.

You’ll find that the world around you is truly Maya, a fiction, an illusion. There is truly no past or future, only Now. There is no distance, which is why you can be as telepathic or clairvoyant as you want – it’s only your own mind you are reading, after all. And this deal of being omniscient, and omnipresent and all that – well, it’s all really a great joke you play on your Self.

Don’t worry if this doesn’t make sense, or seems like talking to the spirit world and whatnot. Test it for yourself and see if it helps. If not, chuck it out. Make your own way, just like you have all along.

A Simple Prescription:

1. Silva Method is the best way I’ve found to quickly get into a high meditative state. Get a version of this and learn it. Start using this daily.

2. Study up on Dr. Len’s technique. Get some version of Vitale’s material, particularly with Dr. Len himself explaining how this works. Add this to what you are doing daily. Get this into regular use along with your Silva meditation.

3. Get a version of Lester Levenson’s release technique. Larry Crane’s is good, so is Hale Dwoskin’s – or get Levenson’s original books and tapes. Now incorporate this into all of the above. Really go for broke on clearing yourself.

4. Your basic importance at this time is to make your life into a “living prayer” or constant meditative state. Dr. Len’s simple technique allows you to get and stay at this state all the time. But all of the above are targeted in that direction, so it’s pretty much a piece of cake once you are familiar with all the theory and practice. You can listen to Alan Watts’ too-numerous lectures and books to keep yourself entertained if you feel the need for distraction meanwhile. You also have the plentitude of New Thought authors and various spiritual and religious works to consider. (Just don’t be terribly surprised when you find yourself looking back at you with the same perfect eyes and vision…)

5. And once you see how you can simply “step across that line” into endless and limitless personal Peace, Love, and Freedom – you’re there.

- – - -

And you now see why I never needed to write this to begin with and won’t anymore.

Cheers!

Thank you.

Aloha.

This is just an additional essay to go into Freedom Is (period.) This one is for the "hard-core" releasing enthusiast who is intent on getting their Freedom back in just a few months. Hence, "Extreme Sports" participants.]

0. Set up a time daily where you simply are able to be in a quiet space, uninterrupted . Preferably this is both morning and evening.

ref.     Haanel
Hill
Nightingale

1. Use Silva system in order to be able to habitually and quickly achieve alpha state (or higher).

ref.     Silva Mind Control, Silva Ultra Mind, Silva Life System

2. Go into a mental “Huna garden” where you set up a peaceful scenario in which to comtemplate things. While people use this to solve situations in their lives, or get answers or to contact other people directly – you are using this as a mental plane where all else drops away. But mostly, a place of inner peace you can go to – something you can visualize as you meditate.

ref.     Serge Kahili King
Tad James

3. But don’t do anything there. Just look at the thoughts and feelings you have coming up. Take all thoughts down to their underlying feeling, all feelings to their underlying desires. Release everything until you have a very solid concept of how Courageousness-Acceptance-Peace feels. You may already know this as a personal revelation. Use Goals Releasing to attain this. Set out a goal and simply work that one goal with the phrasing that is most descriptive to you of the highest enlightened state real enough to attain.

ref.     Lester Levenson
Hale Dwoskin
Larry Crane
Stephen Seretan

4. Now, get into this particular point daily and start working from this first off – and then start examining the world around you, which is all your mental thought-patterns, taking these right back down to their basic desires and releasing them. If you get stuck, release on stuckness, if you get so much bliss that it’s bothersome, release on the bliss.

ref.     ibid.

5. When you’ve been doing this for some time and you’re finding it more and more difficult to find anything to release, and the state is more and more continuous with a nearly or completely calm mind all the time – then go for releasing the core desires below that, which for Levenson was the fear of Death, but can also be described as the apathy of non-existance. This is having to survive as a separate, distinct individual – and anything which “threatens” this unique beingness.

ref.     ibid.

6 . After that, work at answering, “What Am I?”

ref.     ibid.

7. Around this point, you may very probably achieve a Zen Master state, where you find yourself much as Alice did when running with the Red Queen, who stated that they had to run as fast as they could to stay in the same place. That is the point of the professor in the prelude. He was already there all the time. The mountain he was climbing didn’t exist in actuality.

ref.     Hale Dwoskin
Alan Watts
Lewis Carrol

And you may then want to take up studies of Alan Watts, if you haven’t already. You will hear him tell of the tradition where Zen Masters were too often simply returning to their earlier crafts and villages once they achieved Zen. And if you study Huna (and you will find the real ancient Polynesians had no real name for their philosophy, much like Lao Tzu’s description of the Tao) you will see tales of a world where Kahunas were everywhere and life was a very simple matter indeed.

ref.     Serge Kahili King

Notes:

Lester said that anyone could attain their own personal freedom if they worked at this in three months or less. But you will be working in seclusion, without interruption for those three months. It’s a very rarified existence. Rent a secluded cabin when the weather will be good. Stock it up with three months of supplies. No TV, Internet, or regular conversations with anyone during that time – just shut it all down so you can simply concentrate on achieveing your own personal freedom, peace, happiness – or however you would phrase it.

(Now, probably you might need to call someone once a week just so someone knows you weren’t hurt or something. Or do this in a monastery setup with complete silence, but someone taking care of you the entire time.)

You are looking at doing as Thoreau did – but with greatly advanced tools. Live a very comfortable, quiet life for three months – like a long summer vacation – or until you achieve that state you are looking for. Shouldn’t take that long, it could actually happen in minutes. But many have lived their whole lives without simply seeing the mountain’s base, much less attempting to climb it.

The caveats are many here:

  • I’ve not done this, but this is the logical way to proceed. I live on a farm, which has it’s own isolation. And is how I came to write this book and do my other research.
  • There are no average or typical results to this. No two people achieve the same identical state or successes.
  • This is, as I said, only for those who are extreme about achieving this state. You really, sincerely, have to want Freedom more than you want the World.
  • And more than likely, you will come away from this knowing that there was no mountain to begin with, and that you had whatever you were looking for the whole time. The universe, as you created it, was a scam the whole time. And you will understand how you are the punchline to it’s joke.
  • On your way, apply Wattle’s Summary:

In order to receive his own when it is ready to come to him, a person must be in action in a way that causes him to more than fill his present place.
He must keep in mind the purpose to get rich through realization of his mental image.
And he must do, every day, all that can be done that day, taking care to do each act in a successful manner.
He must give to every person a use value in excess of the cash value he receives, so that each transaction makes for more life,
and he must hold the advancing thought so that the impression of increase will be communicated to all with whom he comes into contact.

  • This, and the Golden Rule as well as the 7 Huna Principles, will allow you to live a more comfortable life as you travel your chosen path – if you even need a path or have to travel at all after that…

Once you get to the point of real enlightenment, you will see that this book (and this blog) didn’t even need to be written. All of this is plainly obvious to anyone who would honestly look.

And you will see why I say that this be my last book on this subject.

More on the KISS BUTT release technique system http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/more-kiss-butt-release-technique/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/more-kiss-butt-release-technique/#comments Thu, 18 Mar 2010 18:00:50 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1874 spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing

More jokes about KISS BUTT technique...

Just got an email from Larry Crane (author of the Abundance Course release technique).

(And yes, this is a bit salesy. Crane has a product to get you to try. But the value in this is such that I thought to post it here for you as well.)

He explains here more about this BUTT system he has that really works to get stress off your lines, and Happiness, Freedom, and Peace back on them.

Recall that KISS means “Keep it Simple, Sweetheart”. Stephen Seretan is the one that revived that old Lester Levenson-ism. Lester was always one to mix humor with practical advice – this is no different.

Larry sent me the following which I thought you’d appreciate:

As funny as it sounds – The Release Technique is also sometimes called the “Butt System”.

The reason?

It’s simple. Because with The Release Technique all you do is sit on your butt… get in touch with all your “negative” feelings… and then… “let them go” on the spot.

No “down time” involved. No having to hide yourself away in a toilet cubicle while you go into a self-hypnosis trance. No awkward breathing exercises.

In fact, you can use The Release Technique whilst having a conversation and, the other person wouldn’t even realise you were using it.

All you have to do is become conscious of your negative feelings (like stress) as they arise… and then… “let them go” (erase them!) by using The Release Technique.

And guess what?

Although you can use The Release Technique to rid yourself of stress a lot quicker than anything else you could do – it’s not the “full story.”

See, the exciting truth is, just by sitting down in a comfy chair or going about your day and “letting go” of your suppressed “negativity feelings”…

Everything That Was Making
You Stressed Will “Reverse”.

See, stress is really just subconscious resistance. That means when you are stressed you are holding in mind (at a subconscious level) all the things that you don’t want.

And because the mind is only creative – when you are stressed – you are “attracting” more of what you don’t want.

This is, of course, tying right into the “Law of Attraction” as they call it. Sure, releasing and getting everything you want in life go hand-in-hand. Around half of the teachers on “The Secret” DVD are graduates of the release technique. Larry continues to explain how this works:

However, as impossible as it may sound right now, by using The Release Technique to “let go” of your stress (subconscious resistance) you will suddenly “attract” everything you want into your life – (material possessions, your ideal partner, the job you want, better health, etc.).

In other words, using nothing more than The Release Technique to “let go” of your suppressed “negative feelings “… also… acts as a foundation for supercharging every other area of your life… sending you rocketing to a whole new level of satisfaction and pleasure you could never get before.

This is no joke.

It sounds like magic – but it’s just the law of the universe. Like attracts like. Positive (mind) attracts positive.

That’s the whole point here: when you quit holding onto negative feelings and resisting the world around you instead of accepting and welcoming it – you simply get more of what you are holding onto. Natively, you are at Peace, you have all the Happiness you could ask for, your health is superb, and abundance flows around you like it’s always been there. Because it has. It is.

I cut out the rest of the emal because it gets too “buy it now”.

Look, I’ve got a lot of pages on this – review of all the main schools out there, and one on Larry’s stuff alone. And those have affiliate links on them if you want to try them.

Just because I think this stuff is great, doesn’t mean it’s going to help you.

And of course, you can just study all the stuff I’ve written on Sedona Method release technique and not even have to go near their materials. But my stuff is a bit heady and steep for a lot of people. My road isn’t necessarily the one you should try.

But you won’t know unless you try something. If you just keep doing everything you’ve always done, then you won’t get any different results, will you? Your choice – as always…

Achieving Goals by Sedona Release Techniques http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/achieve-goals-release-techniques/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/achieve-goals-release-techniques/#comments Sun, 07 Mar 2010 12:52:03 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1808 spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing Had a breakthrough today which I just had to tell you about. And in my own style, it’s a bit esoterically powerful in application.

Before I tell you how you can improve your ability in setting and achieving your personal and business goals, we have to cover how you go about your life goals setting. And also what success goals you would want to shoot for.

Lester Levenson had a great deal to cover on this, as does Hale Dwoskin and Larry Crane. Goals are important to people. And it doesn’t matter if you use Sedona Method or Release Technique to improve your goal achievement.

You have to know how to find goals to set. And mostly, this is done by getting beyond all the control, approval, and security involved with even needing a goal to begin with.

If you really look at it, anything to do with money is really only due to those three desires: control, approval, and security. If money disappeared tomorrow, people would still be able to make a living. If people disappeared tomorrow, so would any money. Money is a fiction created by people – mostly to get and hold control over others, to get and win approval, to provide security or ensure it.

That’s the whole discussion on the Health Care Bill right now – false security by the concept that people have to be insured, and how much this is going to cost. And who is going to control it all – plus these Congress-people wanting or flaunting the approval of their constituents.

Popularity and celebrity is another gimmick and runs the same way. It’s heavy on approval and control.

Ask Al Gore. He’s on his way to taking a PowerPoint presentation into a cool billionaire status by running a carbon-trading company – nice work if you can get it. Nice awards on that mantel, Al.

But you can have all the money you would ever want. And also any amount of celebrity you could need. We could each one of us be Donald Trumps if we wanted.

The trick is in letting go of the pluses and minuses to each end of the spectrum.

And this is before you decide on any goal for yourself, your life, or your business, or relationships, etc.

Now, I’m not one to make things more complex. I tell people to take Hale Dwoskin’s and Larry Crane’s stuff and use what they can out of it. Because once you get this releasing stuff really plugged into your life, it becomes a natural action. Like breathing. It’s actually part of your way of life.

For some of us, there can be short cuts to the seemingly harder situations to release.

So I’ve extracted a method that both Hale and Larry use different versions of – which is to alternately release on both extremes.

Take money (just not mine…) Release on being insanely rich, and do that until it seems fine with you. Then release on being completely poor (“ Being broke is temporary, poor is a state of mind.”) And do that end of it until it’s fine with you. Then back to “being rich” again. Then do “poor” again after that.

You just keep this up 1 – 2 – 1 – 2 – 1… until the whole subject is completely fine with you. What you’re looking for is to be completely content with the subject and no longer attached to it in any degree.

One point a friend pointed out was to also release on the good feelings you have about being rich or poor – like the control it gets you out of, or how it helps you get control over others, or approval from people, etc. You can have those “good” results from these desires when you are rich or poor…  So release everything on both ends as you go.

And after that, you’ll have all the money you need when you need it – but you won’t “need” it anymore in general.

You can do this with any particular goal in your life. Or purpose or anything else you are trying to achieve, acquire, become, etc.

The point, of course, is to take all the effort out of it and move everything in your life over into the “miracles as usual” band. Because that’s really how you get everything around you. You just demonstrate/manifest it. All these other reasons and excuses and “because’s” are just thoughts and resistance you’ve built up along the way.

Trick is in getting back to your native operating state – and drop all these thoughts off along the way.

And once you don’t “have to have” anything, then your goals will come to you naturally and intuitively. You don’t have to “decide” on a goal or do a complex advantages/disadvantages list – or anything like it. Just first get really “hootless” on the subject itself. Then see if you don’t already have a goal for this area. You may not even need to have a goal now – since, like money, it just shows up as and when you need it.

Of course, this isn’t going to get you accepted into the finest clubs and universities – because they “make money” from keeping this difficult. So it’s just our little secret – which is now all over the Internet. ;)

- – - -

And of course, drop me a line or leave a comment on how this goes for you…

Good Hunting!

Sedona Releasing Zen http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/zen-releasing/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/zen-releasing/#comments Sun, 31 Jan 2010 04:13:01 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1559 spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing

Once you get done releasing all you can release, then you release releasing.

It becomes a way of life. Nothing more.

As you get all that Hale Dwoskin and Larry Crane and Lester Levenson and anyone else with an oar in the water – when you get all you can learn from these people, then just let it all go. Accept (welcome) it – then let it go. Or both at the same time.

You can take up Alan Watts as a study in order to understand the comparative religion references which Levenson mentioned, as well as the metaphysical concepts Dwoskin mentions in his advanced seminars. But of course, Watts often referred to himself as a fraud.

And as you get right up to the top level, you find that you’ve let it all go. Somewhere along the way.

You also find that there is no “top”. But the journey is great reward enough.

The Game of Life then becomes just too simple.

When you get to this point, do you look different to others? No. Are you particularly healthier, have perfect relationships, get more wealthy immediately – nope.

But everything is a lot easier.

You get to the point where it’s all just — well, … just so. The closest word to this is Zen.

But that’s for people who still need words. Some only need intuition. Others need more. Up to you.

Doesn’t mean you become Buddhist or Taoist or anything at all. Practically, you just become yourself. And then you move beyond your Self.

Life just gets better. If you want it to, anyway.

Simple.

And there’s not much more to it than that.

How do you demonstrate your life goals? http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/lifestyle-choice-goals/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/lifestyle-choice-goals/#comments Fri, 22 Jan 2010 21:41:42 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1480 spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing

Studying Alan Watts, I recently came across this from his “The Book on the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are”.

“…the game of life as Western man has been “playing” it for the past century needs less emphasis on practicality, results, progress, and aggression. This is why I am discussing vision, and keeping off the subject of justifying the vision in terms of its practical applications and consequences. Whatever may be true for the Chinese and the Hindus, it is timely for us to recognize that the future is an ever-retreating mirage, and to switch our immense energy and technical skill to contemplation instead of action. However much we may now disagree with Aristotle’s logic and his metaphors, he must still be respected for reminding us that the goal of action is always contemplation—knowing and being rather than seeking and becoming.

As it is, we are merely bolting our lives—gulping down undigested experiences as fast as we can stuff them in—because awareness of our own existence is so superficial and so narrow that nothing seems to us more boring than simple being. If I ask you what you did, saw, heard, smelled, touched, and tasted yesterday, I am likely to get nothing more than the thin, sketchy outline of the few things that you noticed, and of those only what you thought worth remembering.”

This really brings up that there are three basic approaches to life:

  1. Take the Western concept of always pushing through to get goals, accomplishments, attainments, and acquisitions around you.
  2. Take the Eastern concept of simply throwing it all over in favor of the quest to be one with the environment, the nascent creation of all which is ever present.
  3. Or start really enjoying the journey rather than the end of it.

None are actually more correct or better than the other. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. I’ve listened to both Larry Crane and Hale Dwoskin, as well as their mentor Lester Levenson – each of these has a quite different take on how to approach life, although they each use releasing to forward their own particular approaches to living.

Frankly, you’ll be better off no matter which one you follow – or if you follow none of them. That is, if you want to get better.

Because, if you really want something, you’ll get it. If you want to get better, ultimately you will.

Now I got onto this study of Watts because of his lectures on the Tao, which is a great complementary study to Levenson’s Sedona releasing method. That and Jesus’ own direct words.

Funny that I ran across this answer to a question of what to do when you get perfectly imperturbable. Not surprising, though…

How I'm learning to let my own light shine – to spite my illness http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/how-im-learning-to-let-my-own-light-shine-to-spite-my-illness/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/sedona-method/how-im-learning-to-let-my-own-light-shine-to-spite-my-illness/#comments Mon, 26 Oct 2009 21:45:07 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1096 spiritual training How ancient Hawaiian healing methods use New Thought and Levenson Releasing

There was an interesting development over the weekend. I got an eye infection that wouldn’t quit. Now, since I’m a Scorpio by birthdate, this includes me into the area of people who don’t get sick much, but when they do – it’s a doozie. (At least that’s what’s on paper.)

A checkup today said I had some oddball thing where the auto-immune system was actually attacking the eye as a foreign particle. Something called Iritis – infection of the iris.

Now, I just had to check back into my immediate past to see if I hadn’t released on something that could have started that all off. Of course, Hale would say, “are you trying to figure it out?” and then tell me to simply release on it.

The point of education here (“teachable moment”) is that illness is stress-related – which is simply having accepted some limit which keeps the normal Peace and Joy from flowing out.

Often this will manifest on the body. Simple.

Seems I was involved with a ripoff artist bunch. But these guys are tar-babies – you have to let go of them at the word “hello”. And that’s not what I did.

So this pulls a price in terms of emotional involvement – requires some heavy thinking, which just dredges up old mental habits. And some of these have a physical kickback connected to them.

My approach to this, then is just as drastic as the medicine the doctor told me to take. For the next few days, I’ll be doing more meditative releasing than anything else. Nothing but staying focused on “What am I?” and releasing any other thought that comes up.

It’s really jut time to go for blood on this. A little freelance to get out of the way, and I really have nothing else to do at that point. Go hermit and isolate to make some personal freedom progress. Stay off the computer (well, maybe a little everyday to update my emails) and just concentrate on Freedom.

Oh – if this sounds interesting – don’t wait until you get a serious illness to try it. Take a week off from your regular life and do a retreat where you can simply concentrate of “What am I?” Because you have to want Freedom more than you want the World. Check out Levenson’s Sedona Method for yourself.
