How Sedona Method and Quantum Jumping are turned into scams
Most of this, as in any scam, is in what you expect out of them.
The biggest problem people have is falling for the “Get Rich Quick” (GRQ) sales pitches. And people are blaming Burt Goldman and the various teachers of the Sedona Method Release Technique for scamming them.
Which in turn is only a problem as people don’t know what they really want out of life.
But there is an simple way to scam proof yourself if you just know how anything can be made into a scam.
Many people simply fall into that addiction which our culture has as a whole, which is simply acquiring things, stuff, people, junk. Money is one of these. It doesn’t actually exist in the natural universe – it’s only a humankind thing that we created and continue to create.
The other point we have in common – another addiction – is instantaneous gratification. Our Internet has started to fill this with “virtual products” – simply ebooks and other documents which are transferred from one computer to another just as some sheets of code. Nothing actually transfers, other than some little pieces of electrical pulses.
But with these, we can get almost all knowledge, any data we could want.
With that Get Rich Quick addiction, the only problem you have is that you have a desire which can’t be satisfied. So you take it out on anything that isn’t instant.
Now both Quantum Jumping and Sedona Method can be applied to acquiring wealth. And where these are attempted to satisfy those desires they fail. In fact, everything applied to that desire fails. Nothing will ever satisfy a desire, because there is no limit to the amount of wealth one can accumulate, and it can never get there fast enough.
And if you want wealth by Quantum Jumping, here’s Burt Goldman’s three videos where he tells you exactly how to go about it. Again – this is because people want it, the people on his lines asking for ways to get more money in their lives.
But look at these within these ideas you’ve just covered above:

In “The Secret”, it’s clearly pointed out where one teacher says that the Universe can be compared to a genie which will give you whatever you want. But when you say, “This doesn’t work…” then you are given exactly what you want – failure.
The underlying scene, which both Quantum Jumping and especially Sedona Method tell about – is that you generate your own happiness. All the happiness you want is already within you. It isn’t externally produced by finding and acquiring more money or “stuff” around you.
But when you try to get all this stuff – what happens? You are never truly happy.
Why?
You are looking outside for something that you can only find inside. The only happiness and joy you can actually get is already inside you. Already inside you.
The old phrase, “Money can’t buy love or happiness” is and always been true. Money is just a symbol which represents the value you have given to others. Listen to the old Earl Nightingale tapes, or read Wallace Wattles’ “Science of Getting Rich”, or Charles Haanel’s “Master Key System”. Even Napoleon Hill’s “Law of Success.”
All of them point back to this basic law we all follow, whether we say we do or not – the Golden Rule in its various versions all say this:
You have to give before you can get.
So simply buying someone’s set of CD’s and listening to them won’t make you rich. You’ll get a refund if you ship them back, but that’s all.
Because any scam you have is and always has been within yourself.
All those ideas and thinking that is flying around you – all those negative feelings, critical thoughts, anxieties, stresses – all those are held on by you just to keep you from being happy and experiencing the native joy that’s been within you the entire time.
But don’t use the Sedona Method or Quantum Jumping to find them. Use these to allow yourself to let them out.
Only then can you scam-proof yourself in life.

Bottom Line for Burt Goldman Scam researchers:
I’ve gotten my own copies of Goldman’s material and studied them. I’ve posted a review of his Quantum Jumping materials and am soon to release one covering his MindBox product. Practically, he’s mixed a lot of Eastern mystic and meditative practices in with and on top of the Silva Method. University researchers have checked out the Silva Method and it’s known for effective results. Goldman’s additions are interesting, if unproved through independent studies (but they’ve only been out a few years…)
The best results I’ve personally seen and experienced were from a combination of New Thought, Silva Method, Huna, and Levenson Release technique. All of these have stood the test of time and have been independently tested.
The actual test is what you get out of it yourself. Nothing else counts. Your Freedom – whether you feel you now have more than when you started – is the key point to keep in mind as you create and travel your own path.

Hi Robert, interesting take on the never ending spiral of desire as the cause of perpetual discontent. My take on it is that people caught in the “get rich quickly” schemes are probably less interested in the deeper meanings you allude to, and rather in situations that require a fast resolution. Most are quite at the end of their wits, close to desperation, which makes these scams so much more vile. It’s this clouded thinking caused by hopelessness that makes them fall so easily prey to these scams. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to get rich and there’s nothing wrong to wanting to get rich fast. For all we know, this is all there is, our only shot to physical and emotional comfort. Everything else is speculation. It’s true that money doesn’t exist in nature and it’s only a convention of society. But then, again, society as it exists right now, and all the values humankind invented to maintain it, don’t exist in nature: “hard work”, “entitled”, “nine-to-five”, “sacrifice” and “next life”, etc., are just as artificial and only benefit a few people. I also wonder what the difference between Larry Crane’s Release method and the Sedona method is, considering they have the same origin, are quite identical and are only marketed differently. That is to say (and I’m not saying that), if one is a scam, then both methods are. As you know, Larry Crane also has an Abundance Book and multi-CD program (and not a cheap one), which, like Sedona, touts the same results of effortless abundance if you shed all knee-jerk emotional reactions, by the same very method. Just wondering.
@hannah – You raise some very good points. Certainly nothing wrong to getting rich quick, in fact there are stories that the enlightened could have all the money or valuables they needed. It was just that with all that enlightenment, they didn’t need it any more. But still could produce it at will.
Crane and Dwoskin both have slightly different approaches. It’s more what flavor appeals to you. They both studied with Levenson directly, so get very similar results.
I have been trying to reach Burt for a while now. I took his course and found out in another alternate life I was scamming people. Now that you’ve written “How to Get Your Self Scam Free“, this is a perfect way for me to atone for my “sins”. Hope it’s a great success on Amazon!

Funny how the people leaving there comments here fail to realise few improtant things. there is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme, most overnight successes came after years of effort and trying something new. tkae all the gr8 inventors,success icons of the last 200 years for example. Edison, Ford,Carnegie people who used their mind in believing in their dreams. It is almost a givin that if you concentrate on what you want in life(mind power) and then apply any action towards achieving your goal no matter how many times you try you will succeed. this includes the wealth you are talking about. money is surely just a man made thing but without it you don`t have much of a chance in surviving. Happiness also starts from the inside, and if you are not happy with your thoughts or actions you will never succeed in anything. I wouls suggest that you use you rbrain and look at facts and then put it into action to get wealthy, happy and have a fuller life before slagging someone off on his life`s work like the quantum jumping.
BEEBE you spend your money wisely but you failed to mention if you had put into action anything you listened to. You see just by listening to a priest preaching about God doesn`t make you a Christian, nore does listening to rock music make you a Tatoo junky.
Action speaks loader than words my friends and you can listen to anything anywhere anytime but if your action doesn`t change your life won`t either, like Jim Rohn said, ” If you change, the world around you changes. You have that much power ”

To those with eyes to see and ears to hear, you can tell that he believes in his quantum technique. There is a saying “who you are is speaking so loudly that I can hardly hear what it is that you are saying.” This man speaks of that which he knows and tells the truth. I will be buying the cd’s and won’t blame him if I blow the process of executing the art..

well now Im not sure who to believe!I had though about buying it,but now im not so sure,Im not looking into getting “rich”from this But more looking to be heal,and learn to heal myself,and others,and yes,making money along the way to better myself and to help others who have less than me,But maybe the Jose Silva”plan is a better plan for me!Not sure anymore,after hearing a lot of this is fraud!

If you want to the know the truth about the Universe and yourself, get to know God. Read the Bible and read it for all it’s worth and you will find everything you need. “Seek first the kingdom of heaven and then all things will be added to you.” that’s in the Bible…that’s the truth. God gave you a mind to use, not to abandon and to be used by others in the name of their religion (of control, power, and greed).
