6. “Together” Is the Master Switch for the Whole Underground Factory

Seek Your First Goal First

For all the ages of man he has only had a few real goals, and he mistakenly regarded them as first goals, when academically they were his choice of ultimate goals, But your greatest need and your very first goal should be to get together with yourself and to stay that way for every second of your life.

The System at Work

When submission has succeeded in diminishing self-apartness and inducing a mood of inner togetherness, this is the time to practice, this is the time to test the switches on desires, distresses, specific objectives.

State your want and its objective clearly and rationally, silently or aloud or both, making your full self know the exact meaning of the objective.

Now believe in your project, in your individual role in this Perfect Living experiment, relying totally on the processes of personal automation without attempting to know what they are. Let your body act like a sleep walker or a subject in a semi-hypnotized state.

Now throw the switch that sets the individual machine into motion, without thnking of the meaning of the switchword, in much the same way as you would switch on the light, the vacuum cleaner, or a toaster in your own home.

Now, in a compliant mood of self-ductility, subjugate your reasoning processes to automatic reflexes.

How to find new switchwords:

1. Chant “together” 28 times in a rhythm:
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER.

Having the “want” for this to appear will make it so. Repeat chant as fast as possible until the switchword appears.

2. These steps:
Decide what you want.
Believe that it is already yours.
Visualize the complete concept of having it, with the largest positive feeling you can muster.
“REACH – TOGETHER”, or “TOGETHER – REACH”
And then let go.

The switchword will appear intuitively

3. A switch can be an action. Chant the “Together Song” above and follow your intuition on what to DO.

Also can be REACH in combination with TOGETHER and NOW. Then relax and let the body do the action.

4. An object can act like a switch. Use REACH, TOGETHER, DIVINE, plus any switchword for a particular ailment (if exists).

Relax and follow your instinct. The object should appear shortly, or will appear when doing something else.

Notes on “The Secret of Perfect Living”:

Mangan’s key point is to get the conscious coordinating with the subconscious in order to get anything done. He also mentions that you have to submit to God. Through this, you can get all that you want done in life. Huna explains a great deal of how this works, as well as Haanel’s Master Key System, not to mention Troward’s lectures. Serge Kahili King’s and Max Freedom Long’s books on Huna provide a very good base to understand this relationship between the Divine, you and your subconscious. You are the coordination point. The subconscious is your link to the rest of the universe and all of the Infinite’s power. The subconscious is also very powerful (it runs your body, for instance), but doesn’t know what to do with all that power. So you have the delicate proposition of helping it to understand things. It will show you images and feelings when it thinks that these are appropriate to what you are doing. Your job is to evaluate these and sort through them for the lessons underneath. Certainly the switchword “CANCEL” is useful here as a quick way of getting some of this stuff out of your way. However, you can also look at why an old image was brought up and what associations are still connected with that image. You will learn, as you teach the subconscious with your learning.

The trick through all this is to do and pursue those things in life which bring you peace. When you being operating from the point of constant peace, you will have achieved what Mangan calls “Perfect Living”. Then you will achieve and acquire everything you want in life. Use of switchwords merely simplify and speed up the process.

None of the books and studies above developed switchwords – which are an intense shortcut to the subconscious, bypassing necessary meditation or prayer. Occam’s razor applies in this case, as the fewer words you apply to a scene, the more effective the prayer or meditation. Switchwords can be a breakthrough if used as Mangan laid out.

Switchwords manifest more quickly as they go directly to the sub/pro-conscious and bypass the “objective” (conscious) mind and its rationalizations.

Applying the New Thought method (also found in “The Secret” DVD) of naming what you want, getting the feeling of it, then applying the switchword – or combinations of them – will get the most horsepower into this. You have to let go when done.

One suggestion on this line, especially when using combinations of switchwords, would be to set them to a popular tune – so it then sets up on “automatic” in your mind and rolls on as you do other actions. Great use for this is when doing chores and don’t have to use all your faculties. Do this when doing mundane activities such as cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping – or hum to yourself while driving instead of turning on the radio.

Note that three of these switchwords are the names of people who set a good example in the field. This could be expanded – “Edison” might be used for invention, “Sherlock” for deductive activities, “Einstein” for advanced thought or mathematics. Anyone you know and respect might be a switchword for some trait you wish to emulate. It’s what you feel, your concept – and what you want.

Languages other than English would have their own switchwords, which may or may not be translations of these.

Perhaps the most powerful switchwords would come from the most ancient languages. Max Freedom Long found new meanings by translating phrases from the Bible into Huna and then back into English. Older languages had more meanings available, using fewer words. Finding these would be through the above methods – chiefly would be in getting the “want” figured out exactly, then asking the sub/pro-conscious to deliver it. The switchwords from ancient languages might even be more powerful than those Mangan found in English.

The switchword “DIVINE” is barely mentioned in this book, given no illustrative example of use. However, you can see that this will connect you directly through the subconscious to the Universal, where all your wants are fulfilled. Use DIVINE in combination with REACH and TOGETHER, plus any particular switchword for the ability or talent you are working to acquire.

Another switchword -GRATEFUL To bring you peace.

Additional Notes on Use and Function of Switchwords

Switchwords can be used as an assist in meditation. Most of us have a great deal of problem in keeping our mind focused, in keeping thoughts controlled (or released) enough so we can concentrate.  Keep your attention on the the concept of what you want to solve or improve and then repeat the switchword which could help you most (or combination) and keep this up for 15 minutes or longer – or until you get intuitive insight of something to do.

That is the key point of switchwords – they enable inspiration into what action you should be taking. The trick is to instantly get into action, following your inspiration/intuition. Trust your inner vision and your intuition will improve. And you’ll gain greater peace in your life and for those around you. (And wealth, health, personal power, etc.)

You’ll also notice that this aligns with Huna as well as Sedona Release Technique and Silva Method quite well. Ho’oponopono has the same goals.

The point is that all of these various techniques speak in the same voice with different words.

Burt Goldman and His Most Excellent Adventure

lifestyle choice Care and Use of Switchwords to get health, wealth, success, etc. Had a dog die today. Got run over by a truck, towing a trailer. No way to stop or slow down. Should have trained the dog better. But you don’t keep a country dog on a leash.

Sure, there was grief. However, the more interesting part was that I used what Burt said as far as reaching out to the spiritual universe to see what I could find out. (Out of Goldman’s “Mind Box” series.)

And there was my dog, jumping and running around, as playful as ever. Not concerned that it just passed on after being run over. Happy.

When I kept checking, different methods, same result. Well, mostly.

After awhile, she’d come to me like she always would – out of nowhere and jump up to lick my face all over. Just happy, happy. Pure, unconditional Love.

But I learned from this.

It all boiled down to the same points:

Feelings are created – on top of personal, native joy that is already there.

Bad feelings, good feelings, all feelings are created.

Even exhilaration – just another feeling which is all additive to the moment.

Let’s review from Levenson’s release technique:

  • All thoughts are based on feelings.
  • All feelings are based on desires.
  • All desires are created to play the game of the Individual.

But the game of the Individual is a lie – in order to have a game. It is, however, seemingly the most valuable game of all. Once you are over having to play that game, then you can really start to make progress.

The trick to this Universe, to Living itself, is that there is no Other. There is only Being which runs through all of our individual Self’s that we keep created.

A continuing bottom line which I keep running up against is that this One runs through everyone and everything. It’s always on. But exists in no future or past. Only in the Now.

Today’s post only adds to an earlier one. Death is more than a fiction. It’s a complete and utter fiction.

People, pets, plants – all life doesn’t “die”. It’s just another version of life that goes on.

Life is only a dream, and Death is just another extreme on that scale. “Moderation in all things” says that any and all people and life-forms (as well as non-life forms) are somewhere and nowhere at the same moment.

That moment is not the result of your thoughts, though it could be. It’s not the result of your feelings, although some hold it to be so. And desires can never be satiated or fulfilled. Love is what creates the world around us, at the base. Beingness is beyond, before, inside, and outside of Love.

The real point is to Be. And only Be. Everything else, other than the Now, is a fiction – a complete mock-up.

The Now is always there. And you are always in the Now, as are all those around you and connected to you. You are, as always, connected to everyone and everything. But there is no future, no past, no disconnection – only the Now, the moment.

And within that is the answer to “What am I?” and “Who am I?”

Once you figure this out for your Self, then you have it.

Of course, this never needed to be written – because you already knew it. ;)

(No, I’m only reporting what I find. Your own mileage may vary…)

An intuitional life – doing what you should have been at all along…

Geese actually do a great job mowing...

Geese actually do a great job mowing...

Came to me while mowing the lawn and watching/listening to/experiencing my thoughts rattle around. Not so much a unique experience for anyone familiar with Levensons’ Sedona Method. (I mean being distanced from your own thoughts – not mowing. I’d rather geese do my mowing almost any day.)

In my life I’ve been very busy following all sorts of leads which put all sorts of stuff in front of what I really should be doing.

I should have been listening to my intuition the whole time.

Intuitional living isn’t an easy thing to move over to. It’s not like you just ask the driver to stop at the next corner so you can get off. It’s a transformational thing.

At this point, I know these key points:

  • You have to learn to listen.
  • It requires working constantly for the most optimal solution around you.
  • It means working in abundance in everything you do and more often open-handed giving.

There may be other key points (they’ll come to me if I need to tell you), but let’s go over these individually. While books have been written on each one (and I’ll reference those I know of as we go) you don’t have to get these books to understand and start applying these right now to your own life.

1. You have to learn to listen.

This is listening within as well as without. Most of the time we are so busy thinking that we are tripping over our own thoughts constantly. Our minds run away with our lives.

Several authors, such as Charles Haanel (in his “Master Key System”) said to seek the Silence. His 24-lesson course the book was based on had you practicing sitting still for some time every day and simply learning to control what you were thinking. Others call for meditation as a way to discipline the mind. My favorite is Lester Levenson, who simply said to release the thoughts and feelings which welled up – this quieted the mind and eventually removed its “thinking” influence entirely.

The point is like someone who is talking all the time and doesn’t let a word in edge-wise. Until that person learns to be quiet and listen to others, they can’t learn anything. While Levenson and others tell how a person develops that problem, it’s easier to simply “let go” of that impulse than to figure it out (which involves more thinking, doesn’t it?)

So intuitional thinking requires simply sitting down in a comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed – several times a day if possible, but at least once daily – and learn to be still and just listen. Don’t contribute to anything that comes in, just allow it and then let it go. Eventually, with practice, you can sit for 5 – 10 – 15 minutes or more and just listen to the world around you. This skill starts to carry forward with you in life and you’ll find yourself taking in and enjoying more life around you.

Until you listen, you won’t be able to have the inspirational, motivational, and intuitional thoughts arrive (they actually are arriving all the time, but we have to get all this noise out of the way in order to begin to see them.)

2. You need to work constantly for the most optimal solution around you.

Now, “work” might not be the best term – it only seems like that at first. Later it becomes fun, a game. But you are changing some life-long mental habits at the outset. So start looking for better solutions, the best possible solution to everything you encounter. Just see if you can’t work out how to live more abundantly and install this abundance in everything you do.

All your situations should result not just in win-win, but in win-win-win. Everyone involved wins from the solution you help evolve – and they then take that to help others live abundantly as well. You really need to not just pay it back, but pay it forward, and then pay it forward in advance.  Wallace Wattles covered this in his classic, “Science of Getting Rich”. He laid out a whole chapter devoted to the idea of doing always more than you are asked to do, taking care with each detail to create the most professional product you can.

3. Work in abundance  – start giving open-handedly.

In nature, there really is no competition. That is a humankind-invented view of things. The oldest writings and teachings on this planet confirm just one thing – we are all connected, there are no limits. Sure, there are the apparency of limits and restrictions, but you’ll find that they are arbitrary and imposed, not occurring naturally.

Look at the things in life which are giving you the most problems – taxes, government, political parties, mass media – these things don’t exist except for us “highly evolved” humanoid-type peoples. And if you look at more “primitive” peoples who don’t have health care, insurance, lawyers – the same sun still lights up their day with warmth and causes things to grow for them. They still enjoy their family, they eat and live with much less stress than we face in our “modern” world. A recent article about some of the oldest-living people found this village where they still went out into the fields every day and harvested their own food, even into their hundreds of years living on this planet.

Competition is only a limiting apparency. Creative action and resolution is unlimited.

And I could really go on and on about open-handed giving – it’s where commerce started out and where online marketing is going again. People don’t want to be consumers, they want to be part of the experience and community that any given product represents.  Online vendors know that they have to give away tons of really valuable stuff before anyone will invest their own hard-earned income with them. It’s a matter of trust. But that trust is built best through open-handed value-giving, not tons of “promotional give-aways” (although the two are related.)

- – - -

None of these concepts are new – even Intuitional Living isn’t a new concept. Emerson talked about it in his own way, as did his student, Thoreau. Even Shakespeare touches on it here and there.

It’s just come the time now, in our Internet information age, that we can move anyone who wants to right on up this line and out. Because Intuitional Living is just the next logical step, but it isn’t the final one (if there is one). It’s the next thing after having everything you need and want in life, being whatever you want to be, doing, achieving, acquiring all that you ever really wanted. You’ll get all that on your road to Intuitional Living. All of it. And you’ll find that once you do, you don’t really have to have all that. (Like owning a candy store – you find that you don’t want to eat candy all the time, but are really interested how to improve others diets so they can enjoy candy as a treat – not an have-to-have.)

Try some Intuitional Living for yourself. Just those three simple steps. See how you can work on each one a little bit each day – and see if your world and the worlds of others around you don’t improve just to the degree you work on these. It really only helps improve things. And as you give to others, you will receive. So this is an invitation to immensely improve your life forever.

Don’t take my word for it, don’t believe what I say here. Try it for yourself and see if it’s true for you.
