If you are wanting to get all the scam artists and telemarketers out of your daily life now and forever, you have to become conscious of their techniques and completely scam-proof yourself.

The actual reason is that I’ve been working to get you all this data is so that you can recognize a fraud for what it is and stay away from the appeal and trap. You don’t have to get the refund you didn’t get taken by.

To begin with, let’s review what the book told you so far:

Maslow told you that we all have a hierarchy of needs, running from the real physical up through emotional, social, cognitive, aesthetic, growth, and right up to self-actualization.

Cialdini revealed to us that these requirements have been glommed onto by scammers who have taken advantage of the six main elements to apply: Reciprocation, Commitment and consistency, Social proof, Liking, Authority, and Scarcity.

Levenson exposed to us that the reason these 6 succeed for scam artists is peculiar to only 3 distinct desires:

1. Security,

2. Approval,

3. Control.

Through these 3 experts, you certainly see how you are hard-wired, but as well how you’ve been educated through social contacts and familial training to quickly be a scapegoat of anyone who realizes how to use these key points against you.

Anything you don’t get the anticipated outcome from is a rip-off. But it really amounts to your own ability to figure out for yourself and actualize your own life around you. The more choice you give in to other persons, the more burdensome your own chains become.

A pathway to become scam-free:

Lester Levenson actually found that the largest situation people had was not in that they were hard-wired to be easy mark’s or fall guys. It was that they kept holding onto whatsoever it was that kept them that way. All the bad mental habits you have were learned and can be unlearned. Levenson expanded approaches you can use to release these negative mental habits from your life and quit using them for good.

The ease of these steps are:

* Accept whatever it is that is bothering you.
* And let it go.

It’s really that plain. Even if you don’t consider you can let it go, to some degree you already have.

When you see you’ve been beguiled by some con artist, simply accept that as a fact. See the emotions behind it, the desire for security or approval or control and then just release it.

Don’t try to figure it out or fret over it, just recognize it – and then let it go.

When you release in this vein, those issues are gone for good. At least as far as that particular scam. As you continue this, you become progressively more scam-free. As you gain knowledge from each of these situations, you’ll avoid more and more. Now this doesn’t mean you get totally free overnight, but it is possible. Morelikely is that you are going to discover yourself releasing increasingly more situations you find yourself in where you don’t get the expected outcome.

And as you do keep releasing, you are then even more able to simply treat the people involved in that scenario as you would like to be treated. This will give you the best outcome.

You want to begin doing this with all non-optimal situations you run into. Do this all day long.

That is the secret recipe for getting scam-free completely.

Now there is a lot more to Levenson’s release technique, also called the Sedona Method.

In the Appendix of “Get Your Self Scam Free” are several Sedona releasing sites and their products so you can explore more how to apply this by yourself. Both have a lot of free material on their sites as well as free downloads or low-cost introductory material you can use to improve your life with. Certainly, being able to release anything and everything that is bothering you is far more applicable to your life than just the scams you will quit stumbling over.

Here’s hoping you are able to put this to good use – for yourself and all your family members and close friends. The fewer scams we fall for, the more we can hold onto and expand our native abundance. No reason why we can’t all be wealthy if we use this…

All Internet Marketing Scammers and Telemarkers are tar-babies http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/all-scammers-are-tar-babies/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/all-scammers-are-tar-babies/#comments Sat, 12 Jun 2010 12:31:42 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1237 lifestyle choice 3 Authors and 1 recipe to get Internet Scams out of your life forever.

After considered thought and experience, I have no use for telemarketers. Period.

If you touch them at all, you’re stuck. Don’t think the government is going to get you unstuck, either.

And the only way you can really get ripped off is to believe in their “pitch” to begin with.

But the trick is to stay far away to begin with – or take some actions now so you don’t have these scammers on your lines ever again:

1. When a telemarketer calls, say “No.” and then tell them to take your name off their lists.

2. Never give a phone number out. Period. No one except your friends and family need to know. When you send off for information, they don’t need your phone number – or you don’t really need that information. This includes all online and off line forms.

3. Never give out a credit card online. Be very, very careful who you give it to on a telephone call, preferably NOT.

3. Quit using credit cards. They can send telemarketers your way under their agreements’ fine print.

And once you are done with these internet rip off artists – stay far, far away and never deal in their general direction again (unless you are subpoenaed for legal information in someone else’s case, obviously.)

Additional tip: use release technique to get rid of the negative thinking and emotions these guys stir up. One thing you can bless them for – giving you something to release…

[Updated 06/12/10] Learned the hard way at least once since I wrote this book – but here’s the lesson plans to Get Your Self Scam Free.

Getting your money back from a scam

Writing this as I just got scammed again (some turkeys whose address I found out is a UPS store in New York), and because you need to know your recourse if you can’t find this simply in the forums:

1. Immediately call their number and keep careful notes of who you talked to and find out their supervisor’s name if you can – tell them you are taking notes and demand your refund in no uncertain terms. Do not let them talk you into an extension. Most of these guys only give you a 3-day refusal period – and might even count the weekend, although the courts and laws only count weekdays. Be absolute. You want your money back and you want it now.

2. Now, same day, right after that call: call your credit card company and tell them you disputed that charge. Also keep very good notes on who you talked to, and if possible, get their supervisor’s name. (Credit card companies are mostly into this scene, but will work with you if you keep at them – and contact them early enough.)

3. Same day again – go online to your Attorney General, as well as the Attorney General in the state they came from and file a complaint. This is even if they promised to refund your money. The reason is that they will still try to get out of it. No, you don’t threaten to do this if they don’t return your money.  These guys don’t respond to threats. Just do this third.

4. Report online to FCC, FTC, and FBI. Fill out all the information you have. Now, this is even if you are promised your money back. Because these guys are doing this to others.

5. Contact their local Chamber of Commerce and file a complaint there about that business.

6. You can also file a complaint with the BBB, but that won’t do much more than irritate them. The worst scammers either don’t belong or could care less.

7. Hit the forums and complain about them. Just so others can find out.

The reason you do all this in the same day is to first, get it out of your system – and second, most of these guys simply move somewhere else under another name quickly. Too many complaints and they just drop everything, reincorporate under another name and start over.

Good Luck. Tar is sometimes hard getting off your hands…

Do you own yourself – or is it all in someone else's hands? http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/government-scam/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/government-scam/#comments Wed, 09 Jun 2010 12:25:56 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=855 lifestyle choice 3 Authors and 1 recipe to get Internet Scams out of your life forever.

Waking early the other day, I was taking the extra time to just consider recent events and resolve my day’s plans before I headed into them.

The oddest thing occurred to me – do we own ourselves, really?

(Warning – standby – rant alert.)

Here’s some points that have come across my lines recently:

  • Government seems to be taking a larger run out of our lives (like enforcing healthcare choices), whether we want it to or not.
  • Congress and elected officials seem to be listening to lobbyists and party officals more than the voters who elected them.
  • Our food has increasingly had to be shipped in from thousands of miles away instead of being grown where we can ask and find out what went into it.
  • We are being discouraged from working and being independent, since if we did make a fortune to retire on, we’d have it all taxed away – but people who never earn enough to pay taxes are given money from those who do.
  • Various scams abound, from credit card companies and usury-level charges along with extraneous fees, to career politicians with their perks, to interest groups who are taking government money (ours) and being paid to promote some extremist agenda, to “Humane Societies” who aren’t trying to handle excess dogs and cats, but are rather trying to make us all into vegans by driving our farmers out of business with regulations.
  • Our state-run, mainstream media won’t report on public demonstrations with more people attending than the President’s inauguration, but will tell us about a flu which is less harmful than the regular one – and that we should all line up and pay for shots to protect ourselves against this fiction.
  • While the earth has been growing colder since the late 1990′s, our pollution has been growing greater but the only solutions is to what: raise taxes and cost of living for everyone.

So it seemed to me that we needed to stop and take all this into account and see what we could actually do about it.

Of course, the bulk of the problems above really deal with government issues – we are trusting an unresponsive, lobbyist infected government to handle situations we could and should handle ourselves.

Let’s look at some simple solutions to these:

1. People have stayed healthy for many more years than there have ever been insurance companies. And some of the cheapest health care right now has been started in some states where you pay a monthly fee directly to the doctors’ office in order to keep you well – not just when you are sick. No middleman – no one betting against your survival – no one saying you now can’t get any further treatment. And guess what – it’s cheaper by more than half.

2. Career politicians (and career government workers) are really a self-perpetuating business all by themselves. According to the Golden Rule, you have to give before you can get. But government has to take before it can give. And do you know who is writing all these bills that the Congressmen don’t have time to read? Lobbyists and professional government clerical workers – neither of which are elected, both protected from being fired for incompetence. Politicians only want to be re-elected so they can get the perks they voted in for themselves. They live in a different world and even if convicted still get a posh annual retirement income of hundreds of thousands each year – while they are in prison.

3. While there is all these complaints of Cargill, ADM, and Tyson controlling our food chain – no one is telling the stories about how community gardens have been springing up on empty lots inside our cities, as well as on rooftops. Where people are contributing their own labor and getting – literally – the fruits of their endeavors. There is the movement of locally-grown food, some call it the 100-mile diet, getting your food from within a hundred-mile radius of where you live. That way you could know what was in it and maybe even lend a hand in raising it, if you wanted.

4. Taxes have less and less to do with supporting the common good, and more for supporting the friends of whoever is in power in government. (Look at where those “stimulus” funds are actually going to…) Factually, if you take the recommendations given by the IRS guidelines, the most inexpensive way to work is for yourself as a corporate entity and increasingly resorting to barter of your business goods. That is the least-taxed method of making a viable living these days.

5. It looks like all the biggest scams are government sponsored or sanctioned. Credit card companies used to be regulated by the states and had to keep their interest fees low until the Feds in their “OCC” elected to take this right away from the States – and credit fees doubled, to nearly 1/3rd of the original loan. The Humane Society of the United States is actually anti-pet and anti-breeder and anti-farmer. Anything that has four-legs and reproduces is under their auspice – and is getting laws passed to make it more difficult to have pets or eat meat. Yet is runs no animal shelters – and had closed many down, destroying all their occupants. They are a special interest in Washington and do nothing humane. But government scams abound – since the government has a monopoly, who can stop them?

6. Our media has never been accurate in its whole history. They have always, always written sensationalist stories to sell advertising space. Any idea of “Journalist Ethics” was invented by Academics in order to sell classes for journalist wannabe’s. And when they lose their joint control of the air waves to cable and the Internet, they complain about how these “aren’t really journalists” – thank Gawd – and continue to pander to various government officials for “scoops”. The mainstream media has never, ever reflected the real world. Their soap opera’s actually get the closest, way more than their “reality” shows. (Who eat bugs in the jungle for a living?)

7. Read the actual NASA reports and you’ll see the global warming issue is a hoax. Warmest year on record was about 1998, last two years we have had record snowfalls and cold internationally, this summer was one of the coolest on record in decades for many states. Who started this rumor? A career politician. But is CO2 rising? Yes. Effect on global temperature – nothing. Our problem with CO2 starts with our governments, which expel this by the megaton every year and have nothing to show for it. Meanwhile, we truck our food in from thousands of miles away with all that exhaust and refuse permits to set up windfarms off some politicians’ East Coast homes. (Because they are unsightly?) Solutions to this fictional global warming are to tell polluting companies they have to buy credits from less-polluting companies. But the states with politicians in charge get more credits assigned to those states – instead of states with huge forests and pastures filled with grazing animals. (Oh, finally tracked down that other fiction. Excess cow flatulence is caused by feeding them corn and other grains, not their natural diet of grass – which most cattle are raised on for the bulk of their lives.)

- – - -

OK, take a breath, slow down.

The world isn’t all bad. Nor is it all that bad.

But the question comes back – Who Owns You? Or — Do You Really Own Yourself?

Consider this – if you own property and don’t pay the taxes on it, what happens? Some government employees are able to come in and seize your properties for the back taxes with guns and put you in prison if you resist. If you use a gun to defend your property, they are able to use lethal force (kill you) in their “defense”. And your relatives probably can’t even sue for “wrongful death”.

However, if you don’t make enough money to pay taxes because you don’t work, then you qualify for the government renting a house on your behalf and even giving you all sorts of handouts. Who pays for these? Oh, they tell some people who do work for a living to cough up – or they will come and take it, this all backed by gun-toting government employees, against which you can’t defend yourself.

Now if your property is owned by a corporation that you run, the taxes are much less and if it’s a non-profit, you might not pay taxes at all. Similarly, if you don’t really work for a living on anyone’s paper, and barter for everything you own, your taxes are very low, if not non-existent. But you do work for a living and control your own property – and don’t pay for someone else’s upkeep.

Can you control government? No.

Can you improve the government you have? Yes.

Solutions you can do to own yourself

  • Let’s do one thing – make all government employees (including the elected ones) all term limited. States can do this for their own Senators and Representatives, they don’t have to get a Federal law passed (which will never happen).
  • Another thing: educate yourself on taxes and learn to avoid high taxes by being smart. Only the dumb rich are taxed. Only dumb governments tax the dumb rich enough to make them move to lower-tax states. (Ask New York and California how this works. Both are failed experiments.)
  • Vote your representatives out of office on a regular basis, otherwise. Let someone else have a chance.
How about sunset provisions in every law, including the ones which have been on the books forever? This would mean government officials have to re-vote in all laws every few years to keep them on the books. (Like the Civil Rights Act, which is now being used to protect White minority voters.)
  • Get your food all locally. Help grow it yourself to keep your costs down.
  • How about insisting your city start recycling materials (they can actually sell the metal and plastic today, while organic materials can be composted back into – yes – local city gardens, or parks, or local farms. (Why does NYC keep dumping it into the ocean – isn’t that just more pollution?) And so we won’t have to spend all that fuel and CO2 trucking, training, and shipping food from California to NY, or Florida to California, or Arkansas to Alaska…
  • Quit watching TV. Period. Rots your brain.
  • Cut off your power usage by unplugging anything that doesn’t have to be on (like a refrigerator). See if you can’t get a solar cell to run some devices (like night lights). Figure out how you could have the same quality of living without extra doo-dads that someone sold you during a TV infomercial…

Those are just some of the ideas I’ve had for your to reclaim your life for yourself.

You can own yourself.

It will take some work.

But the more you can limit government and work it out for yourself – or in cooperation with your neighbors – then the saner life we can all have.

Try it.

Go ahead – leave your comments below. Agree? Disagree? Could care less?

lifestyle choice 3 Authors and 1 recipe to get Internet Scams out of your life forever.Notes on Use – from the back few pages of the book:

Propositions:

1. Man’s Immediate Aim is Permanent Self -Union

2. Perfect Living is a State of Invulnerability

3. The Office Boy Everlastingly Fights With the President of the Corporation

4. You Must Believe in Your Underground Factory

5. You Can Control the Machines of Personal Automation and the Switches That Activate Them

6. “Together” Is the Master Switch for the Whole Underground Factory

Seek Your First Goal First

For all the ages of man he has only had a few real goals, and he mistakenly regarded them as first goals, when academically they were his choice of ultimate goals, But your greatest need and your very first goal should be to get together with yourself and to stay that way for every second of your life.

The System at Work

When submission has succeeded in diminishing self-apartness and inducing a mood of inner togetherness, this is the time to practice, this is the time to test the switches on desires, distresses, specific objectives.

State your want and its objective clearly and rationally, silently or aloud or both, making your full self know the exact meaning of the objective.

Now believe in your project, in your individual role in this Perfect Living experiment, relying totally on the processes of personal automation without attempting to know what they are. Let your body act like a sleep walker or a subject in a semi-hypnotized state.

Now throw the switch that sets the individual machine into motion, without thnking of the meaning of the switchword, in much the same way as you would switch on the light, the vacuum cleaner, or a toaster in your own home.

Now, in a compliant mood of self-ductility, subjugate your reasoning processes to automatic reflexes.

How to find new switchwords:

1. Chant “together” 28 times in a rhythm:
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER,
TOGETHER, TOGETHER, TOGETHER.

Having the “want” for this to appear will make it so. Repeat chant as fast as possible until the switchword appears.

2. These steps:
Decide what you want.
Believe that it is already yours.
Visualize the complete concept of having it, with the largest positive feeling you can muster.
“REACH – TOGETHER”, or “TOGETHER – REACH”
And then let go.

The switchword will appear intuitively

3. A switch can be an action. Chant the “Together Song” above and follow your intuition on what to DO.

Also can be REACH in combination with TOGETHER and NOW. Then relax and let the body do the action.

4. An object can act like a switch. Use REACH, TOGETHER, DIVINE, plus any switchword for a particular ailment (if exists).

Relax and follow your instinct. The object should appear shortly, or will appear when doing something else.

Notes on “The Secret of Perfect Living”:

Mangan’s key point is to get the conscious coordinating with the subconscious in order to get anything done. He also mentions that you have to submit to God. Through this, you can get all that you want done in life. Huna explains a great deal of how this works, as well as Haanel’s Master Key System, not to mention Troward’s lectures. Serge Kahili King’s and Max Freedom Long’s books on Huna provide a very good base to understand this relationship between the Divine, you and your subconscious. You are the coordination point. The subconscious is your link to the rest of the universe and all of the Infinite’s power. The subconscious is also very powerful (it runs your body, for instance), but doesn’t know what to do with all that power. So you have the delicate proposition of helping it to understand things. It will show you images and feelings when it thinks that these are appropriate to what you are doing. Your job is to evaluate these and sort through them for the lessons underneath. Certainly the switchword “CANCEL” is useful here as a quick way of getting some of this stuff out of your way. However, you can also look at why an old image was brought up and what associations are still connected with that image. You will learn, as you teach the subconscious with your learning.

The trick through all this is to do and pursue those things in life which bring you peace. When you being operating from the point of constant peace, you will have achieved what Mangan calls “Perfect Living”. Then you will achieve and acquire everything you want in life. Use of switchwords merely simplify and speed up the process.

None of the books and studies above developed switchwords – which are an intense shortcut to the subconscious, bypassing necessary meditation or prayer. Occam’s razor applies in this case, as the fewer words you apply to a scene, the more effective the prayer or meditation. Switchwords can be a breakthrough if used as Mangan laid out.

Switchwords manifest more quickly as they go directly to the sub/pro-conscious and bypass the “objective” (conscious) mind and its rationalizations.

Applying the New Thought method (also found in “The Secret” DVD) of naming what you want, getting the feeling of it, then applying the switchword – or combinations of them – will get the most horsepower into this. You have to let go when done.

One suggestion on this line, especially when using combinations of switchwords, would be to set them to a popular tune – so it then sets up on “automatic” in your mind and rolls on as you do other actions. Great use for this is when doing chores and don’t have to use all your faculties. Do this when doing mundane activities such as cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping – or hum to yourself while driving instead of turning on the radio.

Note that three of these switchwords are the names of people who set a good example in the field. This could be expanded – “Edison” might be used for invention, “Sherlock” for deductive activities, “Einstein” for advanced thought or mathematics. Anyone you know and respect might be a switchword for some trait you wish to emulate. It’s what you feel, your concept – and what you want.

Languages other than English would have their own switchwords, which may or may not be translations of these.

Perhaps the most powerful switchwords would come from the most ancient languages. Max Freedom Long found new meanings by translating phrases from the Bible into Huna and then back into English. Older languages had more meanings available, using fewer words. Finding these would be through the above methods – chiefly would be in getting the “want” figured out exactly, then asking the sub/pro-conscious to deliver it. The switchwords from ancient languages might even be more powerful than those Mangan found in English.

The switchword “DIVINE” is barely mentioned in this book, given no illustrative example of use. However, you can see that this will connect you directly through the subconscious to the Universal, where all your wants are fulfilled. Use DIVINE in combination with REACH and TOGETHER, plus any particular switchword for the ability or talent you are working to acquire.

Another switchword -GRATEFUL To bring you peace.

Additional Notes on Use and Function of Switchwords

Switchwords can be used as an assist in meditation. Most of us have a great deal of problem in keeping our mind focused, in keeping thoughts controlled (or released) enough so we can concentrate.  Keep your attention on the the concept of what you want to solve or improve and then repeat the switchword which could help you most (or combination) and keep this up for 15 minutes or longer – or until you get intuitive insight of something to do.

That is the key point of switchwords – they enable inspiration into what action you should be taking. The trick is to instantly get into action, following your inspiration/intuition. Trust your inner vision and your intuition will improve. And you’ll gain greater peace in your life and for those around you. (And wealth, health, personal power, etc.)

You’ll also notice that this aligns with Huna as well as Sedona Release Technique and Silva Method quite well. Ho’oponopono has the same goals.

The point is that all of these various techniques speak in the same voice with different words.

“Let him step to the music which he hears, no matter how measured or far away.”

Had a dog die today. Got run over by a truck, towing a trailer. No way to stop or slow down. Should have trained the dog better. But you don’t keep a country dog on a leash.

Sure, there was grief. However, the more interesting part was that I used what Burt said as far as reaching out to the spiritual universe to see what I could find out. (Out of Goldman’s “Mind Box” series.)

And there was my dog, jumping and running around, as playful as ever. Not concerned that it just passed on after being run over. Happy.

When I kept checking, different methods, same result. Well, mostly.

After awhile, she’d come to me like she always would – out of nowhere and jump up to lick my face all over. Just happy, happy. Pure, unconditional Love.

But I learned from this.

It all boiled down to the same points:

Feelings are created – on top of personal, native joy that is already there.

Bad feelings, good feelings, all feelings are created.

Even exhilaration – just another feeling which is all additive to the moment.

Let’s review from Levenson’s release technique:

  • All thoughts are based on feelings.
  • All feelings are based on desires.
  • All desires are created to play the game of the Individual.

But the game of the Individual is a lie – in order to have a game. It is, however, seemingly the most valuable game of all. Once you are over having to play that game, then you can really start to make progress.

The trick to this Universe, to Living itself, is that there is no Other. There is only Being which runs through all of our individual Self’s that we keep created.

A continuing bottom line which I keep running up against is that this One runs through everyone and everything. It’s always on. But exists in no future or past. Only in the Now.

Today’s post only adds to an earlier one. Death is more than a fiction. It’s a complete and utter fiction.

People, pets, plants – all life doesn’t “die”. It’s just another version of life that goes on.

Life is only a dream, and Death is just another extreme on that scale. “Moderation in all things” says that any and all people and life-forms (as well as non-life forms) are somewhere and nowhere at the same moment.

That moment is not the result of your thoughts, though it could be. It’s not the result of your feelings, although some hold it to be so. And desires can never be satiated or fulfilled. Love is what creates the world around us, at the base. Beingness is beyond, before, inside, and outside of Love.

The real point is to Be. And only Be. Everything else, other than the Now, is a fiction – a complete mock-up.

The Now is always there. And you are always in the Now, as are all those around you and connected to you. You are, as always, connected to everyone and everything. But there is no future, no past, no disconnection – only the Now, the moment.

And within that is the answer to “What am I?” and “Who am I?”

Once you figure this out for your Self, then you have it.

Of course, this never needed to be written – because you already knew it. ;)

(No, I’m only reporting what I find. Your own mileage may vary…)

An intuitional life – doing what you should have been at all along… http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/intuitional-life/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/intuitional-life/#comments Mon, 19 Apr 2010 04:50:05 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=751
Geese actually do a great job mowing...

Geese actually do a great job mowing...

Came to me while mowing the lawn and watching/listening to/experiencing my thoughts rattle around. Not so much a unique experience for anyone familiar with Levensons’ Sedona Method. (I mean being distanced from your own thoughts – not mowing. I’d rather geese do my mowing almost any day.)

In my life I’ve been very busy following all sorts of leads which put all sorts of stuff in front of what I really should be doing.

I should have been listening to my intuition the whole time.

Intuitional living isn’t an easy thing to move over to. It’s not like you just ask the driver to stop at the next corner so you can get off. It’s a transformational thing.

At this point, I know these key points:

  • You have to learn to listen.
  • It requires working constantly for the most optimal solution around you.
  • It means working in abundance in everything you do and more often open-handed giving.

There may be other key points (they’ll come to me if I need to tell you), but let’s go over these individually. While books have been written on each one (and I’ll reference those I know of as we go) you don’t have to get these books to understand and start applying these right now to your own life.

1. You have to learn to listen.

This is listening within as well as without. Most of the time we are so busy thinking that we are tripping over our own thoughts constantly. Our minds run away with our lives.

Several authors, such as Charles Haanel (in his “Master Key System”) said to seek the Silence. His 24-lesson course the book was based on had you practicing sitting still for some time every day and simply learning to control what you were thinking. Others call for meditation as a way to discipline the mind. My favorite is Lester Levenson, who simply said to release the thoughts and feelings which welled up – this quieted the mind and eventually removed its “thinking” influence entirely.

The point is like someone who is talking all the time and doesn’t let a word in edge-wise. Until that person learns to be quiet and listen to others, they can’t learn anything. While Levenson and others tell how a person develops that problem, it’s easier to simply “let go” of that impulse than to figure it out (which involves more thinking, doesn’t it?)

So intuitional thinking requires simply sitting down in a comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed – several times a day if possible, but at least once daily – and learn to be still and just listen. Don’t contribute to anything that comes in, just allow it and then let it go. Eventually, with practice, you can sit for 5 – 10 – 15 minutes or more and just listen to the world around you. This skill starts to carry forward with you in life and you’ll find yourself taking in and enjoying more life around you.

Until you listen, you won’t be able to have the inspirational, motivational, and intuitional thoughts arrive (they actually are arriving all the time, but we have to get all this noise out of the way in order to begin to see them.)

2. You need to work constantly for the most optimal solution around you.

Now, “work” might not be the best term – it only seems like that at first. Later it becomes fun, a game. But you are changing some life-long mental habits at the outset. So start looking for better solutions, the best possible solution to everything you encounter. Just see if you can’t work out how to live more abundantly and install this abundance in everything you do.

All your situations should result not just in win-win, but in win-win-win. Everyone involved wins from the solution you help evolve – and they then take that to help others live abundantly as well. You really need to not just pay it back, but pay it forward, and then pay it forward in advance.  Wallace Wattles covered this in his classic, “Science of Getting Rich”. He laid out a whole chapter devoted to the idea of doing always more than you are asked to do, taking care with each detail to create the most professional product you can.

3. Work in abundance  – start giving open-handedly.

In nature, there really is no competition. That is a humankind-invented view of things. The oldest writings and teachings on this planet confirm just one thing – we are all connected, there are no limits. Sure, there are the apparency of limits and restrictions, but you’ll find that they are arbitrary and imposed, not occurring naturally.

Look at the things in life which are giving you the most problems – taxes, government, political parties, mass media – these things don’t exist except for us “highly evolved” humanoid-type peoples. And if you look at more “primitive” peoples who don’t have health care, insurance, lawyers – the same sun still lights up their day with warmth and causes things to grow for them. They still enjoy their family, they eat and live with much less stress than we face in our “modern” world. A recent article about some of the oldest-living people found this village where they still went out into the fields every day and harvested their own food, even into their hundreds of years living on this planet.

Competition is only a limiting apparency. Creative action and resolution is unlimited.

And I could really go on and on about open-handed giving – it’s where commerce started out and where online marketing is going again. People don’t want to be consumers, they want to be part of the experience and community that any given product represents.  Online vendors know that they have to give away tons of really valuable stuff before anyone will invest their own hard-earned income with them. It’s a matter of trust. But that trust is built best through open-handed value-giving, not tons of “promotional give-aways” (although the two are related.)

- – - -

None of these concepts are new – even Intuitional Living isn’t a new concept. Emerson talked about it in his own way, as did his student, Thoreau. Even Shakespeare touches on it here and there.

It’s just come the time now, in our Internet information age, that we can move anyone who wants to right on up this line and out. Because Intuitional Living is just the next logical step, but it isn’t the final one (if there is one). It’s the next thing after having everything you need and want in life, being whatever you want to be, doing, achieving, acquiring all that you ever really wanted. You’ll get all that on your road to Intuitional Living. All of it. And you’ll find that once you do, you don’t really have to have all that. (Like owning a candy store – you find that you don’t want to eat candy all the time, but are really interested how to improve others diets so they can enjoy candy as a treat – not an have-to-have.)

Try some Intuitional Living for yourself. Just those three simple steps. See how you can work on each one a little bit each day – and see if your world and the worlds of others around you don’t improve just to the degree you work on these. It really only helps improve things. And as you give to others, you will receive. So this is an invitation to immensely improve your life forever.

Don’t take my word for it, don’t believe what I say here. Try it for yourself and see if it’s true for you.

Colleges and Universities – Scams-R-Us http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/colleges-universities-scams/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/colleges-universities-scams/#comments Sun, 11 Apr 2010 09:27:44 +0000 robertworstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=2444 lifestyle choice 3 Authors and 1 recipe to get Internet Scams out of your life forever.

Bill Gates, college drop-out, lecturing to potential grads.

Pounding around and looking at metaphysical stuff (like I am inclined to do), I found yet another person being pilloried in absentia by some hyper-critical goofballs (affectionately called) who really haven’t thought their own thoughts through.

Colleges and Universities are, like their government sponsors, just pulling a big scam on all their students, their faculty, their alumni, and the people at large.

People who say that this or that online or brick-and-mortar college isn’t “accredited” and so is a “diploma mill” haven’t studied what passes for higher education these days.

Now, at the outset, let me again state that I run scams, am a scammer, and nothing I say can really be proved or denied effectively. Like believing that angels help you run your life. Can’t be either proved or disproved. What counts is the results you get from that belief. (And the difference between me and those who would call me a scammer is that I freely admit that I am – they can’t, even though they are just as much as I am.)

I deal in metaphysics, which is the sheerest gossamer of fabric to make a living at.

Practically, I also raise cattle – and you can see obviously what side of the fence a calf is on, just by looking.

But in the smoky halls of what is promoted as “higher” education, you are cautioned several times to disregard the man behind the curtain – who, when cornered and exposed, finally admits his “humbuggery”.

Let’s look at some stats and facts:

I. “Everyone knows” that the Ivy League organizations are the ones to graduate from, right?

    • Ask Bill Gates why he dropped out of Harvard.
    • Ask Michael Dell or Larry Ellison why they dropped out.
    • Or Warren Buffet how his degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln helped him become third-richest man in the world.
    • Or go figure why Sam Walton made all his billions with a BS degree from University of Missouri?

II. And who is “accrediting” these school?  A private set of organizations who derive their income from these same organizations. It’s simply a good old boy’s network, much like the BBB. Go along to get along. If you don’t pay your dues, you’re shunned.

I stayed the hell away from higher learning for much of my life after going through hell in high school and finding that it was just preparing us for four or more years of the same. That I’d be in debt up to my eyeballs when I finished and would know no more about how life really worked than I did already.

So I left and made my way across country several times, learning through hard knocks and hard-scrabble work.

I wound up in a big scam called Scientology, who issued me several dozen certificates which are worthless outside of their own sales funnel. But I learned more about life and how people actually worked by studying all sorts of cultures and mindsets, which I wouldn’t have had any other way.

Then I got out of it and went to college under the idea I needed some initials behind my name to “make money” in this world. I ended up getting 7 degrees in 7 years, studying every type and kind of educational process that 6 different training facilities had.

And wound up doing some of the toughest study on my own – analyzing analysis itself – and used that research to earn a PhD in Comparative Religions from one one of these “unaccredited universities” in Sedona.

A few years later, I was being dissed behind my back by some associates of mine I’d earlier worked with on the West Coast. While none of these had even bothered to try to get degrees of any type or kind, they were not-so-politely deriding my “diploma mill” very publicly in a forum for everyone to see.

My response was to tell them that it’s not what you got, it’s what you do with it. And they shut up.

That is the secret behind Gates, Dell, Ellison, Buffet, and Walton and their successes. They made money and their success in spite of their education or lack of it.

And so very many people do literally nothing with their degrees. I’ve worked right next to people with BA’s in factories and warehouses. Making just enough to get by – certainly not millionaires. And next to recently graduated “Bachelor of Fine Arts” who had never been trained on how to write a business plan or marketing plan to make a living from their artwork.

I mean, look at it like this: There you are all recently risen and outside the Pearly Gates, and where St. Peter is looking you up in his book – and he’s going to be impressed with all those degrees by your nameNo – he wants to know what good you did for others.

Does the Golden Rule depend on having several Masters under your belt – no, it depend on how you invest your heart in others’ welfare.

I found all that education interesting. Because it was an experience in how people taught people, how we learn, and led me to get some data on how this universe actually fits together – but not from how they say it does.

But what’s the worth of all that paper? Exactly what I make of it.

Same for you. Join my free University for Scammers – and have all the success you want in life. Just as long as you first help everyone around you to get their own success. That’s the secret colleges and universities don’t and won’t teach you. It’s all smoke, mirrors, and old men behind curtains pulling levers and cords…

Elderberries – natural relief for even H1N1 flu http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/elderberries-natural-relief-for-even-hn1-flu/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/elderberries-natural-relief-for-even-hn1-flu/#comments Sat, 10 Apr 2010 04:22:00 +0000 Robert Worstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=1148 lifestyle choice 3 Authors and 1 recipe to get Internet Scams out of your life forever.

If you thought pork from Washington was bad and out of control — how about those journalists spreading the H1N1 hysteria?!?

But at a farm show today,  I ran across some very fascinating data – which turns the fictions churned out by our “main-scream” media.

Where I started out today was from visiting with a local farmer who had bottled elderberry juice available for sale – that he had raised and gotten processed. The info sheet he had told about this flu property of elderberries, so I thought to look it up tonight.

And so much for mandatory shots with mystery compounds that drive the conspiracists nuts.

Research centered on Sambucu nigra, the black European elder shows that while elderberry doesn’t prevent one catching the flu, it is able to give almost incredibly fast relief.

His approach is to create a tincture (alchohol based) from the dried berries.

6. How to make elderberry tincture(or any herbal tincture)? Use any REALLY clean, preferably sterilized, glass jar – size does not really matter, but quart canning jars seem to be preferred for ease of storing, sterilizing, and filling. In ANY size glass jar, fill the jar 1/3 full of dried black (S. nigra) elderberries, this does NOT have to be exact, eyeball measurement is just fine. One pound of dried elderberries will eyeball fill 3 quarts with a bit left over or you can just evenly divide a pound of the dried berries between 3 quart jars. More really does NOT make the tincture stronger. Now fill the jar almost to the top with vodka, not less than 80 proof. DO NOT USE any other alcohol you happen to have in your stash no matter the proof, brand or type. VODKA = TINCTURE; Other alcohol = non-medicinal alcohol. Now, cap the jar securely, give a shake or two, and store in a cool, dark area for 7-10 days. That is the universally accepted time period to produce tincture. Longer does not make stronger; phases of the moon MAY have some effect but there is no documentation on that so far. After the 7-10 days you can strain off the liquid and toss the berry residue. DO NOT think to reuse that residue, the resulting liquid will not work as you expect. Your tincture is now ready to use should there be influenza in your area. You do not have to strain off the liquid, but the tincture is not going to get any more medicinal just sitting there soaking the berries. The alcohol molecules fill up to capacity within the 7-10 days and can absorb no more no matter how long it soaks.

7. How do you use elderberry tincture? Since elderberries medicinal properties work directly on Influenza A or B virus present in the body it is NOT a preventative, so taking it in hopes of avoiding infection will not work. When an adult exhibits symptoms of influenza infection i.e. sudden onset of high fever, dry persistent cough, weakness, commercially prepared elderberry preparations suggest taking internally 2 teaspoons of preparation every 4 hours i.e. Sambucol. To use homemade elderberry tincture consensus of opinion seems to be that taking 2 Tablespoons every 6 hours or so for 8-10 days will do the trick. There will be a reduction in symptoms within 2-3 days of taking elderberry tincture as per recommended above, but the virsus will still be present so take for the full 8-10 days just like taking an antibiotic for a prescribed treatment course. Some are hesitant to take after infection due to elderberrys’ VERY slight immune boosting properties.

And this author suggests you make a syrup for children and those who’d rather not use alchohol.

- – - -

WebMD had other favorable reports, stating in unqualified terms that relief from flu symptoms started within 72 hours.

In folk medicine, flowers from the black elder bush have been used to ease flu symptoms, colds, and sinus problems. In recent years, researchers have begun formal studies of Sambucol — a formulation of elderberry extract — to better understand this herbal remedy.

A small study published five years ago showed that 93% of flu patients given Sambucol were completely symptom-free within two days; those taking a placebo recovered in about six days. However, the study took place during an outbreak of influenza B — so it was unclear whether Sambucol worked with type A virus.

This current study shows that, indeed, it works for type A flu, reports lead researcher Erling Thom, with the University of Oslo in Norway.

Thom’s findings were presented at the 15th Annual Conference on Antiviral Research in 2002. The study has been accepted for publication in the Journal of International Medical Research.

The study involved 60 patients who had been suffering with flu symptoms for 48 hours or less; 90% were infected with the A strain of the virus, 10% were infected with type B. Half the group took 15 milliliters of Sambucol or and the other group took a placebo four times a day for five days.

Patients in the Sambucol group had “pronounced improvements” in flu symptoms after three days: Nearly 90% of patients had complete cure within two to three days. Also, the Sambucol group had no drowsiness, the downside of many flu treatments.

- – - -

Another report – just as recent as Nov 5 – says a clinical study confirms its efficacy against H1N1 virus

In a randomised, placebo controlled, double-blind in-vitro study the black elderberry extract was found to be 70 per cent effective in preventing the H1N1 virus from infecting healthy cells and reduced intracellular replication by the same amount. The extract, commercially available in the UK under the name Sambucol, was shown to have a significant effect on cells after just five minutes incubation time. Details of the study are available at www.blackelderberry.info.

This new research suggests that black elderberry extract could provide a two-fold solution to both the prevention and treatment of the H1N1 swine flu virus. The study also substantiates earlier trial findings which showed that the black elderberry extract was effective in reducing the duration of influenza symptoms by four days. In comparison, Tamiflu only reduces the duration of symptoms by one day. Previously, an in-vitro study also found black elderberry extract to be 99 per cent effective against the H5N1 strain of Avian Flu.

Following these results, scientists are investigating the possibility of applying for permission to engage in in-vivo studies on swine flu sufferers – something which is currently prohibited under European law.

Black elderberries are thought to contain a compound which coats viruses and prevents them from penetrating and infecting healthy cells. As a result viruses are unable to replicate. Any virus infected cells are then killed and ingested by the body’s white blood cells to remove the virus from the body.

Of course, that’s from a Press Release promoting the drug.

- – - -

And the natural cures are more effective than the unnatural ailments.

But hasn’t that been the Way all along?

The Fiction of Death and Living – it’s only Love http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/fiction-death-living-levenson/#utm_source=feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=feed http://robertworstell.com/lifestyle-choice/fiction-death-living-levenson/#comments Thu, 08 Apr 2010 09:47:30 +0000 robertworstell http://robertworstell.com/?p=2413 lifestyle choice 3 Authors and 1 recipe to get Internet Scams out of your life forever. Like Living, Death is a fiction – a dream – the Gaia/Illusion we are all participating in.

Consider this logic, if you will:

We are all connected, the world is what we believe it to be. Those, of course, come from the very old “Huna” philosophy. And the word “philosophy” itself goes to “Love of what works.”

Charles Haanel covered Love as a primal force, meaning that it exists and creates the world around us. Factually, and by extension, we are all Love at our base.

Lester Levenson’s big breakthrough – the one which saved his life – was recognizing that Love works best on an out-flow.  The more you love others is what brings more peace into your own life.

And this is the unconditional love you can find in pets and the saints.

“Sin” is yet another fiction, developed (like “Money”) to improve the control, security, and approval desires. These in turn are based on denial of this central concept that there are no limits, denial that we are all connected and part of a greater whole. Huna shamans (kahuna’s) had a harder time helping haoles (non-natives) just because so many of these imports brought with them the false data and beliefs that a person could harm another. And so would then tell the petitioner to go and “make amends” as they felt best, then come back to do the next step. Max Freedom Long tells about this in his “Secrets Behind Miracles”.

So where to people go when they die? Nowhere – and everywhere. Because death is neither an end nor a beginning. I ran across an old Serge Kahili King article recently where he mentioned that an old tradition held that Living was just a dream – that when you “died” you simply woke up to another dream.

Dreams, of course, are another fiction – including the one you are “living” right now as you read this.

All there is, is Love.

Now some Eastern philosophies, and Levenson found these to explain what he had gone through, hold that God is within all of us and we are all part of God. Of course, you’ll see the New Thought understanding there – but you will also see that while Alan Watts tells about this concept being integral to Zen Buddhism, it is also in the teachings of Jesus the Christ.

Of course, this makes sense again, since God is Love.

So you have to learn (or unlearn) to love death.

Because, like any good story, it pulls you along the plot line. Where that analogy fails is that this is a story which has no beginning and no end. Sleep is really an artificial end and beginning point of every day – and the enlightened have traditionally found that sleep was another fiction, that in higher states it wasn’t necessary.

But this very fear of death is what drives so many of us. Levenson found that this was the arch-angel he feared through his own life. And brought him to the very real point where his doctor told him he had days, maybe as much as three months to live – only if he went to bed and didn’t get out of it.

He really found out (since he still had a very active mind and drive to understand) that he had brought this on himself. In doing so, all that introspective analysis took him right out the top and into an unreality with the world around him. It took him 18 years and moving to seclusion in Sedona before he could figure out what he had done in order to talk to other people about it effectively enough to help them achieve that state for themselves.

I am still on this “path” to resolving this for myself. And you’ll see the fallacy of that statement – it is really that I am awakening ever more slowly from the fictions I have accepted on how to live and exist.

But you can also now see why I promote Larry Crane among others – because you can get Lester’s tapes directly.

By the same token, you can see why I tell you to learn from these other Masters as well (Napoleon Hill, Charles Haanel, Dale Carnegie, Wallace Wattles, Earl Nightingale, Serge Kahili King and Max Freedom Long) – as these all studied widely and consolidated what they understood into simple and practical philosophies anyone could apply for themselves.

Each of these found very successful lives – and succeeded exactly to the same degree that they helped others with their own success.

That explains the fiction of Death. Because as we are all connected, our success depends on others’ success.

Now, my living on a farm brings me into a quite different, less sheltered view of death. Farming is surrounded by the challenges of growing things and harvesting. Plants, like wheat and rye, are planted in the fall only to “sleep” during the winter and then rise tall in the spring to “die” about June where their seed can be harvested. If you don’t harvest the seed, it plants itself to grow again the next year. Cows live longer lives in general. But you have to weed out your stock much as you weed a garden – otherwise, there isn’t enough food for all of them and they will all suffer. Cows live, on average about 12-14 years (hardier breeds live longer). But like dogs and cats, they live shorter lives than humans (who live much shorter lives than some trees like the Burr Oak, which can exist for more than half a century). So just in day-to-day living on a farm you see death on a daily basis – if only in the insects making their way around.

And I would invite anyone to arrange their lives so that they can spend a few months or years doing nothing but communing with Nature. And taking that time to look within and find your Self, to really look at what is, to welcome this illusion around us and learn to appreciate it for what it is.

Because the truth and peace you seek is already present. You only have to quit pushing it away or saying it’s not there.

Death is only one manifestation of your own self-imposed limits. I hope you enjoy finding others.
